Hands working, chilly breeze, the stars, and the moon.
Recalling our memories, and scribbling a little poetry in our table.
Corban Eros x Persephone Nicola
Our names carved at the center of the circular table for two.
"P, look." You called me.
"What's that?" I said, stepping closer to you with a pen and paper on my hand.
"Corban Eros and Persephone Nicola. Forever." His lips turning upwards in a cheeky smile.
"You're so corny." I swatted your arm and you let out a manly chuckle.
I sighed at the memory and focused scribbling on the paper. We used to do this when you were still here.
"What was that word again? Ugh!" you mumbled angrily as you forgot what word to add.
"Let me see." I actioned to peak at your paper when you quickly turned around with it.
"No!"
You continued to guess what the word was while your back was on me.
I just shrugged and a smile crept up my lips with your sudden action.
You don't want me to see you work on your poetry as always, because it's for me and you knew I love surprises.
Corban, you bastard, you always surprise me. Really.
I was surprised late in my case cause I didn't notice the words written at the back of those brown papers.
"I will patiently wait for the day 'til I'd be able to marry you." you said, curling a lone strand of my hair at the back of my ear.
We're cuddling in bed. We just made love.
"You mean, night?" you chucked as I said that.
I smiled at the memory.
I continued writing down my last piece. My last tribute for you.
It doesn't matter,
Day or night,
Our love
will always
be true.It doesn't matter,
Moon or sun,
which will rise,
I'll always,
love you.But,
In the universe,
full of what's and if's.
There,
I always knew.Endgame,
big word.
But it's time for it.
A time to say
I love you-
And goodbye.'Til our stars meet again, Corban.
End.
