CHAPTER 7: Behind Those Pretty Faces

TAE'S POV
I feel guilty about what happened in the photoshoot. Dad and Jennie keep blaming me. For a week, Jisoo did not attend our classes. She also missed some important meetings. And worse, I cannot talk to Jin because he's avoiding me.
No one else knew about what happened in the photoshoot, Jin and Jungkook kept it among themselves and the same goes with Jennie, Rose and Lisa. Before the meeting with Miss Sandara, I overheard Jin and Jungkook talking.
"Hyung? How's Jisoo?" Jungkook asked.
"She's doing great and I'm happy that her recovery now is faster than before."
"I still cannot believe that she's hiding a traumatic past behind that pretty face. And so are you."
"*breaths deeply"
"You know what Hyung, that was the first time I saw you reacted like that."
"I'm just so worried. After that accident 8 years ago, I'm trying my best to bring back everything in normal but she really changed.  She never smiled at me for 6 year until --- we formed BTS when I transferred here two years ago, that was the first time she smiled at me and hugged me tighly while saying Congratulations!"
"And that's the reason why BTS is very important to you."
"*nodded"

"Good Evening! Mr. Tae and Miss Jisoo" one of the members of the media greeted
"Good evening!" both replied
"Before anything else, can you please give a statemet about your video that went viral"
"*Both looked at each other. Ofcourse. Well, that incident shows our sides as students and we all know that every student experiences some misunderstadings with another. It is just unfortunate for the both of us that we're not just a student but also in the line of public figures. That's why I feel so sad about it because it spread and went viral. Unfortuately again, we cannot control and change your opinions because we have no superpowers to do that." Tae said.
"*Media members laughed. So, this means you're in good terms now, Miss Kim Jisoo?" another media personnel asked.
"Yes we are. Just like what Tae said earlier, we're also students and maybe a lot of you forget that. It is just so funny because people easily judged what they saw online. Uhhhm, actually it never affected us because it was them (people) who made it looked like war. Well in fact, it was just a simple misunderstanding."
"You two are very smart." Press complimented. "Now, how was the university's preparation for the Music Festival?" the pressed further asked.
"Well, we're already taking steps and as what has been anounced, TWICE will have their comeback this year" Jisoo answered.
"How about BTS?"
"As for BTS, we're not competing as per request but we're planning to perform." Tae said.
"Mr. Tae, there was a rumor that if BTS will not be debuting in our entertainment industry, there is a chance that you will disbanded. Comment please."
"I won't let it happen. BTS is very important to me and to my members. All of us has a story to tell about BTS and how it changed our lives. So, we cannot be disbanded that easily."
"Wow! Armys are very happy to hear that. Lastly, for Miss Kim Jisoo. You're friends with Jennie, Rose and Lisa, who are also making names in your university and a lot of students want you to form a new girl group, is there a chance?"
"*Tae looked at Jisoo and he noticed she hid her hands below the table before she answered the question."
"U-uuh-mm. We actually heard about it but we haven't really discussed it --- so let's wait --- and see."
"Thank you so much Mr. Tae and Miss Jisoo"
"Thank you also" Tae replied while Jisoo sighed.
