Feel like a mannequin doll,
Act proper in pretty dresses,
graceful and poise.
Keeping annoyance and anger in check,
following orders and wishes like a puppet.
Make parents proud,
top of class, keep out of trouble.
Parading around like a perfect princess,
a diamond encrusted tiara on her head.
Going to sleep with masks still on,
the impulse to run away buried inside under obligations.
Deep down a little girl was crying and screaming for help.
Hoping one day she can be herself while no one is watching her every move.
Before she lose herself.
