jungwoo looked to see the friendly, familiar faces of his friends in the diner. he was about to meet his friends that night that's why he couldn't respond to her.

johnny waved at jungwoo and jungwoo responded directly.
jaehyun hugged jungwoo as he got near the table and jungwoo acknowledged him.

”did i go beyond the time? ” jungwoo asked as he walked towards the table w his little group of friends.

” yes, you did!” lucas said as he exaggerated with his gestures and pointed out ”you’re very late!”
jungwoo believing him.

”c’mon lucas , he's the third to the last to come here” johnny said cutting jungwoo some slack .

”aw man, you blew it johnny-o!” lucas said with a frown.

”well, at least im not the latest.” jungwoo sighed in relief.
he shook his head and took a seat beside lucas and johnny.

”oop look mark’s here!” lucas pointed as we looked at the door. our heads and eyes darted at him walking silly.

as mark walked towards the door he did a little twirl and we laughed at him. he waved at us and we all greeted him. ” jungwoo, come accompany me to the counter! ” lucas said as he tried to pull me to buy some drinks.

as jungwoo was on his phone scrolling on his twt feed, he looked up to lucas ” hmm?” i muttered
” i don't wanna recite the orders alone so c'mon" lucas whispered eyeing me suggestively.

”lucas, you little kid!” johnny pointing lucas mocking him
”i ain't a kid!” lucas replying to johnny while sticking his tongue out.

lucas pulled jungwoo to the counter and helped him recite their order’s.

the boys haven't met up with each other for a long while since all of them had their own busy schedules. (except for lucas and jungwoo since they are dormates) the boys talked about stories and gossips about one another along with questions like 'how?, who? and when. they cracked jokes after bc of the sudden diner invite.

”you'll pull through it” jaehyun said to motivate the two boys in their training practices.
both lucas and jungwoo looked at each other and smiled widely at the three of them.

”so, any of you guys in a mutual relationship?” mark asked squinting at all of the boys.
”well johnny’s been going off and on with some girl, jaehyun’s not been with anyone since his school days , and mark’s alone” lucas added to the  question mark asked.

Johnny diverted his eyes on lucas and asked
”how about you lucas?” Johnny squinted.
”me? ” lucas responded with a smiley face.
”doesn’t lucas date that girl from the workplace?” jaehyun added eyes darting at lucas.
”well—i— no, not anymore.” lucas responded.

the athmosphere went silent. after asking that question, mark glanced at jungwoo and asked;

” what about you jungwoo?” mark squinted. leaving the boys to have all attention on him.
jungwoo was on his phone not paying attention to the question and turned his head to mark, jungwoos eyes widening.

”well, i do have someone in mind but i don't know yet.” jungwoo smiled while looking down , all the boys eyeing him. the other boys was caught off guard since jungwoo would just jokingly laugh  these kind of things off.
the boys laughed in amusement since jungwoo was the only boy who attended events alone and usually was a third wheel when his friends were on mini dates. even if his friends suggested him to hang out with a girl he would quickly refuse.
