i'm trying to understand
how many times a person
can be disappointed
i'm only sixteen
i just started growing up
let me live without worry
however this is not possible
in this moment, in 2019

trump is ruling america
alabama is a crazy state
ohio is not too far off
25 men dictating laws about women's bodies
and telling them to enjoy rape
the usa really has big dick energy
palestine is still infiltrated
children are being bombed
palestinians have lost their rights
getting kicked out of their own land
china is holding captive
millions of uighur muslims
banned them from practicing islam
placed them into concentration camps
india just elected
a new government party
one against muslims
india being home to the biggest population of muslims globally
there is a sudanese revolution
millions are dying
families have lost contact
the united nations said they wouldn't help
yemen is going through the world's biggest massacre right now
20 million people will die of famine
where are the people that donated billions of dollars to repair notre dame?
i find it funny that around $40B CAD and $50 B USD go towards the military, which prevents them from making student tuition free
however both countries won't send their armies to fight for peace in places that need it the most
all i can say is
i'm sending prayers
creating awareness
and i am so grateful to be in canada
trudeau has great hair
and he knows what true progress is
banning single use plastics
banning whale and dolphin captivity
confronting the issue of murdered and missing indigenous women
peacefully dealing with trump's canadian milk deficiency
i wonder how long it'll last.
