The pain that once burned like fire had faded away into a icy numbness.
Black filled the edges of my vision and the only thing I could hear was my heartbeat. My breath came in a ragged, shallow gasps.
Seconds passed as I lay there. Hearing his calming voice.
I wanted to hear him again before I blanked out. A tear flew down my cheek along with more, but they weren't mine. I felt as his warm hands pick up my head from the cold hard concrete, as he held me close up to his chest and stared at me with his blue ocean eyes, they're filled with tears just waiting to fall.
I pick up my hand slowly and wipe them off his cheeks. I kiss him slowly wanting this to last but I just can't. I cup his cheeks and smile, " I love you." My voice was fading and so was my vision the feeling of not being able to see him anymore breaks me into pieces because I knew I was dying slowly but happy that someday he will find someone that will love him as much as I did.
