Family time

(Funny story, been doing exam and exam review for a very long, long time. Plus had a medical thing that wasn't big for most but was huge for me and long story short found out I have IBS. I thankfully finally finished thus all last week and have been catching up on other things I was working on before all this happened. After all I hope to have a good ending for this by the end of this year.
Anyways all this aside funny story before we begin, we're not aloud to wear smart watches in exams. Why? Well last winter for the finale exam someone had their mother text them the answer to their exam by sending them pictures off their watch of their exam. So anyways their phone kept going off when she texted them the answer so they got caught but like what the fuck right? Cause thanks to one asshat we can't use watches at all basically in exams because if it's got anything on it other kids think you're cheating some how, even if it's not a friggen smart watch or anything like that. Just thought I should just share that, just so some of you can have something to think of and joke about.

Keith woke up with a sigh to a tiny little arm taping his face. He moved a bit and Daniel just climbed up on the bed smiling. Daniel sat on his (step) dad's chest with a grin while Keith slowly opened his eyes.
"Morning Daniel, what are you up so early?" Keith asked with a yawn quietly careful not to wake up his husband who slept next to him in bed.
"Daddy it's my birthday." Daniel smiled happily as Keith sat up as he just sat on his knees. They all sat there together and all Keith could take note of was the smile on his son's face.
"It can't be. Your papa would have told me." He joked. Daniel laughed standing up.
"No daddy it's my birthday. I promise!" He giggled happily seeming ever so happy.
"Well that means your how old again? 3?" He teased while Daniel smiled getting excited. Daniel smiled sitting back on Keith's lap getting comfy. Lord this kid was to cute to handle sometimes to Keith.
"I'm four." Daniel pouted sitting their, showing off Lance's big blue eyes. Keith smiled slowly getting ready to get up.
"Well why don't we go eat out before your papa wakes up." Keith smiled getting up and getting ready to get dressed. Daniel cheered before Lance groaned moving a big. They both froze hearing him mumble before he went back to bed. As soon as he did Daniel cheered quietly before racing off to go get dressed.
Keith sighed sliding on his red shirt his father in law bought him. It had been 4 months since the wedding. Technically even though their wedding got crashed, Keith and Lance were married. They wore rings and everything. Since then Keith had become good friends with Lance's family members. Not that he cared much though. He just only cared if Lance loved him which Lance said that he did every day. It was something Keith would die to hear more than once to be honest with you.
Yet, other things had happened since then. Like Keith and Lance helping training an army to fight against Zarcon on earth with the help to a few other Alien. To add to that Hunk and Shay got engaged which Lance cried about when hearing he would be best man. Pidge had gotten adopted by Lance's mom and dad within days of being fostered by them. It was something Lance's parents did with each foster child which they had ever had which was at least 4 of their children from Keith understanding.
Lotor had gotten better and finally began beating his cancer. He started to gain weight back. He was getting surgery in a few days to remove the Tumour for sure. Since that was announced Kuro got more protective of him and Cornan would hardly let either of them out of the castle. Speaking of Cornan, he actually met a person on a the internet and started dating her. Keith had met her once and she was a lovely person. No matter what though, he was just glad Cornan found love.
As for Shiro, Adam officially adopted the twins. He also loved to spoil them at every corner. Meanwhile Shiro was still healing from having two baby boys. He seemed to love the boy's both regardless. The two boys also had names thankfully. For so reason it was something Keith was worried about. Even though Shiro promised to name the twins, they still didn't have a name for what felt like year but in reality was two hours. After those two hours Lance's mom had two teddy bears made with the twins names sewn on them. So as you could imaged Aluran and Aiden were spoiled beyond belief by everyone despite being a few months old.
"Daddy hurry up. I wanna eat all the pancakes Grammy makes before Mateo and Mariposa eat them all." Daniel pouted, mentioning his two cousins on Lance's side. Keith laughed a bit slipping on some slippers.
"Okay, okay I'm coming." Keith smiled walking down the hall behind him. Daniel giggled racing down the hall. Keith just yawned passing a few photos on the hall.
There was pictures of Lance after he transitioned everywhere. Yet, there was five of his childhood that they kept. Ones that didn't cause dysphoria. These were ones of when the kids played dress up. In these photos Lace dressed up as a male, just as he always longed to be. Keith's favourite one was when Lance was dressed up like a little king. It was an outfit Daniel had proudly begun wearing around them since they moved in with Lance's dad for now.
"Keith, just in time we've been waiting for hours." Lance's mother smiled up at him as she flipped some pancakes. Behind her Daniel and Mateo were sitting next to Pidge who was playing on an old game boy. Meanwhile Adam was sitting down feeding Adrian who was half asleep. Keith smiled looking at them.
"Morning Adam. Morning Elizabeth." Keith smiled sitting down next Adam. Adam have a tired smile. As soon as he did little Adrian let the bottle pop out of his mouth long enough to let out a tiny yawn.
"Keith please call me Liz. After all we are technically related now. And Adam there's a swing in the living room you can use instead of rocking him back to sleep." Lance's mother smiled at the male's. Before Keith could even open his mouth, a tired Adam raced down the hall to put the tired baby in the crib.
"How long has he been up?" Keith sighed.
"Since 2am by my guess." Lance's mother smiled. Keith smirked a bit. Never in a million years did he imagine Adam to stay up all night with a baby. After all he always said he hated kids..He did always love Shiro however.
"Well hopefully he'll go back to sleep soon." Lance's father smiled as he walked in, three more grandkids racing in through the backdoor behind him for fun.
"Hopefully love and good morning." Elizabeth smiled as her husband kissed her cheek before wrapping her arms around her waist. She chuckled a bit as he rested his head on her shoulders.
"Ahh mi encantadora esposa, how do you always look like an angel in the mornings?" He smirked nuzzling her neck before kissing her cheek. She laughed squirming a bit.
"Love the grandkids and kids are watching." She laughed a bit pretending to squirm away but, it was obvious she wanted to stay in his hold for a while longer.
"Don't mind me. Keep enjoying your 36 years of marriage." Keith's smiled looking down and reading the paper, waiting for his husband. Soon all he could hear was laughter from both Lance's parents and his son.
And just like that he was thankful for his family.
