Early Saturday morning the coffee shop Brew in the busy city of London was crowded with people eager to get their morning coffee fix. People were lounging around on worn-out faux leather sofas and huddled around tables chatting away. The sound of coffee machines whirring to life and baristas shouting out customer's names could be heard. The strong smell of coffee wafted through the air. The sunlight streamed through the window and into the coffee shop.

A young woman sat in her usual spot by the window sipping her carefully crafted cappuccino. Headphones placed over her ears, blocking out the world, while engrossed in her work on her laptop. Long hair covered part of her face as if she was hiding from the world. Lightly tapping her feet along to the beat of her music, while humming quietly under her breath. Caught up in her own little bubble, she was totally unaware she had caught the attention of two strangers.

The two strangers, a man, and woman stared at the young woman from across the coffee shop, studying her from head to toe. They were entranced with her beauty and presence that exuded innocence. Their penetrating gazes burned into her skin a few tables away. At that moment the two strangers knew that somehow the young women would be theirs. Sensing someone was looking the young woman's way she looked up but no one was looking her way. Shrugging it off she continued working.

An older woman sat next to her best friend, in the coffee shop. They had just gone for an early morning run before coming to their favourite coffee shop. She had just finished her tea and was casually looking around. The older woman stopped as she saw a beautiful young woman,  smiling softly to herself as she stared at her laptop screen. Studying the young woman, her heart skipping a beat as she continued to trace her figure with her eyes. The woman had soft-looking light medium-long brown hair and hazel brown eyes. She had perfectly plump lips and a cute little button nose. The light shining from the window made it look like her eyes were twinkling. She must have been staring at the young woman for a long time, as her best friend nudged her and followed her stare to the woman near the window. She looked at her best friend and could see the same interest in his eyes, as they sparkled with interest and mischief. He always got what he wanted no matter what.

They saw the young woman begin to pack away her things. The older woman felt disappointment coarse through her and the man beside her looked like he was feeling the same thing. The older woman made the split decision to follow after her.

Deciding she was finished with her work the young woman gathered her belongings and walked towards the door. Making her way to the door she bumped into the older women. The young woman gasped covering her mouth in horror, apologising to the women profusely. She still had yet to make eye contact with the women, still embarrassed by her not looking where she was going. She looked at the woman and was startled to find her looking right at her. As she recovered from her embarrassment she looked up at the women. A blush began to rise on the woman's cheeks. The older woman was stunning, with bright long red hair and blue eyes. She had a big smile showing off her pearly white teeth. She had tattoos peeking out of her t-shirt and some running down her arms. She had an aura of confidence surrounding her. The young woman apologised again before rushing out the door before the redhead could get another word in.

The innocent woman began to walk down the busy street avoiding eye contact with the pedestrians, still feeling slightly flustered after her encounter with the sexy older woman. When she reached her destination she looked up and entered the bookshop where she worked part-time when she wasn't at studying at university. Little did she know the two strangers had followed her to her place of work, desperate to see her again. This would be the first and only time they would be letting her go.

She stowed her things away in the staff room and called out "Good morning" to her boss Mr. Smith, as she headed to the front of the store. Mr. Smith was the owner of the store who lived above it with his wife of 29 years. He was a great boss, who treated Maddison like his own daughter. She started putting away books on various shelves and tidying up the shop. Before she knew it, between dealing with customers and doing things around the shop her shift had ended. She gathered her bag and jacket, said goodbye to Mr.Smith then headed to the train for the short journey to her small flat in Chiswick.

When she got home the young woman headed to her room to get changed into comfortable clothing. She heated up some leftovers and snuggled into a blanket on the sofa. Suddenly feeling exhausted after a long day, her eyes began to slowly flutter shut. As she drifted off to sleep an image of the confident older woman from the coffee shop popped into her mind. She had a feeling that tomorrow would be an interesting day.
