Surprise!

             "You're sure about this, my father's in trouble?" Ryan tried to confirm. "Mm-mm, he took a job at a mining company called McCallum," Leo confirmed. "No I'm concerned there was a collapse at his dig site. "A cave in so he's trapped." Leo nodded continuing, "The whole company is keeping it quite looks like they didn't have permission to dig there." He studied the monitor that displayed a diagram of the mining site, "They're leaving them to fend for themselves." Leo turned to face Ryan with a worried expression, "So they left them there to die." Ryan cut in. "Well, yeah, but you're a kid, so I have to phrase things a little less, horribly." Leo reasoned and turned back to the monitor, "But yeah they're leaving them to die" He confirmed. "Well, then I guess it's up to me." He proclaimed.

Later

"I plotted a course to Mt.Lancer." Harris said with his tablet in his hand entering the room, sitting on the couch, "And I got brochures for sightseeing along the way. You sure should take the robot outta state" Spyder added and slid over the couch and sat beside Harriss. I sat on the right arm of the couch listening to everyone, I was invisible so no one knew I was there. "Gray and Harper are still out there, they know who we are, we gotta protect mom," Mark stated. "Actually I got that covered," Leo said walking in with a weird looking device. "Cha!" He exclaimed, "It's a home defense unit" He explained, "So we put this onto[ of your room and detect all of your enemies." He finished lightly patting the machine like a proud father. "Or," I interrupted turning visible earning a few shocked screams and appalled faces, "I use a spell." Leo oh'ed, "I see what you guys mean it is scary." commenting on my sudden appearance. "Thanks (Y/N) that would be really helpful." Mark thanked sincerely, Ryan following with a grateful, "Thanks." Leo scoffed, "Sure let's use magic over technology." I suggested, "Why not install both double verification." 

"I should go Harper proof this place," Mark said to Ryan, "Alright go take care of mom." He responded, sighing heavily as Mark went away, he got things to accomplish people saving the world is not easy.

I was at Mark and Ryan's house but before I stopped there, I was picking out my outfit for the dance tomorrow. Yup, strategize, pick wardrobe for future dance, fight monsters/save people, be badass alien princess saving Earth. I had picked out somethings simply yet nice, a two-piece dress with the top being a black and white or the shoulder, where the black was on the right and the white on the left. The skirt was short in front and long in black and puffed out so it flowed around me. It was black on the left and white on the right. My shoes where a pair of bi-colored shoes, black left foot, with white right foot. Plus to complete it I had a mask black right side of my face and white left side. No, it wasn't a Halloween dance, I'm not exactly sure what it was I think it was a Homecoming dance like the first few weeks of school.

When I arrived(teleportation is amazing) I went I saw Mark and Leo trying to scale the house, with the large 'home security system' in tow. "Do you guys need some help?" Crossing my arms looking up skeptically at them. "Nope, we got it," Leo replied. Suddenly they lost their grip on it and it started to descend. I used my telepathy and stopped it inches from the floor, "You were saying." I smirked while using said powers and placing it upon the roof. "Th-thanks." Leo acknowledged. "Yeah (Y/N), thanks," Mark added appreciatively. 

They climbed up the ladder to finish installing it. "So we're not gonna use my protection spell," I proposed. I was gonna do it any way they are my friends and I already put the spell on my house. Mark spoke up like he could read my mind, "You're gonna do it if we agree or no right?" Slightly raising his left eyebrow. I nodded smugly, "Yeah, pretty much." he slightly chuckled, he thinks he knows me so well I thought, and that's why we where friends. 

I teleported in their house and sat on the floor of their living room to begin the spell, no one is gonna touch my friends, that reminds me I should complete the chant on Harriss's house too. I gathered a small plant root, wind in a jar, a lit torch, water in a cup and an ice cube, I set them in a semicircle in front of me, and started to chant the spell, "Ezzkutatu, babeestu, zainidu, diefendatu, ezkustatu, desbieratu." I chanted it five times and the items lit up, then I chanted the last chant to finish of the spell, "Aktibiatu." My eyes glowed in multicolor and the items started to got to different corners of the house.

 Then it stopped, just as soon as Mark and Ryan's mother walked in. "Um, hi are you a friend of my sons'?" She asked in bewilderment, seeing a random stranger, 'meditating' in her living room. "Hi, I'm (Y/N) nice to meet you Mrs. Walker." as I got up out of lotus position to shake her hand. She shook it and greeted me, "Well it's nice to meet you even though the boys haven't really told me about you, how long have you known them?" She asked, I thought about it a bit, "Four weeks I think." SHe continued, "Are you Mark or Ryan's girlfriend or-" I cut her off replying quickly, "Oh no we're just friends," at the moment, I added mentally. She nodded slightly with a knowing face, just then the power cut out. Was it Leo, no he's very good at his job, no matter how much I tease him. 

I sensed something else like someone was doing it intentionally. Since I used my earth and sky powers to sense what's happening around me, at a certain range, of course, it took a lot to use both at full strength, it felt the distance. "Bye, I gotta go it was nice meeting you Mrs.Walker." I rushed outta the house before she could reply and teleported to the robot, inside I saw a crew just as shocked as I was watching the lights in the flickering city.
