•Noah POV•

We were still sitting there waiting for the doctor to come out. It had been over two hours since we last heard anything.

What is taking so long, she was only supposed to get stitches?

Did something else happen to her?

"Luke, how are you feeling right now? it's been over two hours? Wasn't she supposed to just get stitches."

"Wait, what?! It's been over two hours already?" Luke said, freaking out.

"Yeah it has, how did you not notice?"

"I don't know but I was distracting myself by answering e-mails."

"Okay, well we should see if anything has happened."

"Yeah, we really should. Like what do et's go." Luke said frantically getting up.

We walk to the door and Luke knocks, then walks in. The medic was pacing, which was not a good sign at all.

"What happened?" Luke said surprisingly calm... oh, he's f**king pissed.

"Umm well... her muscles and tendons are torn. She is going to need surgery, but not until she is fully awake. Her vitals are better, but still low. She needs time." Joseph said nervously.

"Why are you so nervous?' I questioned.

"I didn't want to be killed if I told you the news, so I have been contemplating on how I should tell Sir Luke and you, Noah. I want to fix her and I can give her the surgery she needs in about two weeks."

"Whatever needs to be done. Can Leilani be transported with us or is that too dangerous?' Luke questioned actually calm this time.

"She should be fine, but be careful of her leg. I am going to have to see how she is doing throughout the night, so I'll need her to stay where she is or Leilani has to stay here. I still need to give her blood too and I'll do a full run down in the morning." Joseph said professionally.

"Okay, well get your stuff ready. We are leaving when you're ready, Joseph. Noah and I will put Leilani in the car. What should we use to stabilize her leg?"

"I'll sit beside her and keep her leg from moving. I need to bring a lot, so do you have enough room in the back of the SUV to hold everything?"

"Yes, we should. If not, we can put it in one of the other cars we have with us." Luke said, studying Leilani.

"Okay, I'm going to get my stuff ready, you men take Leilani." Joseph said grabbing blood bags.

Luke walked closer to Leilani and I could tell that he felt something for her, strongly too.

I waited and watched as Luke brushed her hair out of her eyes and kissed her forehead.

I'm not going to lie, I kind of fangirled.
Luke grabbed Leilani and made sure to keep her left leg straight.

I held the door open for him as he walked out of the medical room and out of the front entrance.

When we got to the car, one of the guards opened the back door for Luke.

He laid her body across the seats, Leilani's legs ended at the beginning of the third seat where Joseph will sit.

I opened the back of the SUV as Joseph walked out of the building with some of his stuff.

I knew that he would have way more, so I held the door open as he walked in and out, piling his stuff in.

After about fifteen minutes, all of Joseph's medical stuff was in the car.

Luke drove off after the first two cars left and then two more followed after us.

We were always protected, wherever we go, no matter what.

Sometimes you just never know what's going to happen.

Luke has always been prepared for the worst, that's why we are still number one.

Luke pulled into the garage and shut off the car. Joseph immediately got out and started to get his medical supplies out of the car.

Luke grabbed Leilani out of the car very slowly, careful to not hurt her.

I held the door opened and also helped Joseph bring his stuff into Leilani's room she used.

Max now had his own room and it was designed how he wanted it, with dinosaurs.

•Flashback•

"This is going to be your room, Max. You want to help design it?" I asked squatting down to Max's height.

"I wants dinos that go 'RAAWR'. I wike gween too." Max said smiling, he is so cute.

I don't usually mess with kids but I'm doing this for Luke and Leilani.

"Okay, Max. We can get you that."

I went to the store and got dinosaur sheets and some pillows for his bed.

When I got back I hired someone to paint his room and do a custom dinosaur design on his wall.

He's going to love this.

The painter came right after Carter took him to school. The dinosaur paiting took about three hours and then it had to dry but it was only on one wall, that nothing touched.

I put five fans in the room, facing the wall and blasted the A.C.

Right after Max did his homework, which was like three math problems, I told him that his room was done and his eyes lit up.

"Okay, can I see it?" Max asked getting off the chair he was sitting on.

"Yes you can, follow me." I said walking towards his newly renovated room with him following behind.

I opened the door once we got there and he ran inside once he saw his painted wall.

"Do you like it, Max?"

"Yeah, it's so handsome." When he said that, I laughed.

I loved how happy he was and how his eyes lit up when he saw the painting.

I'm glad I did this.
