how did this end up so bad?
how did i fall in love with someone i can't have?

"goodmorning" i say to betty as i hand her a coffee i picked up for both of us. "with creme this time, i promise." betty looks at me with a smile.
"veronica lodge, please come down to the office" i hear on the speakers of the school. "what did you do this time?" betty asks and i give her a shrug.
i get to the office and theres my principal sitting at his desk. across from him was this hot guy. ive never seen him before. he must be new.
"veronica, i want you to meet, forsythe pendleton the III." what is a forsythe? "jughead." the raven-haired boy reaches out his hand for me to shake. "you'll be showing him around today."

"forsythe, thats an interesting name." i look at her and laugh. "i was named after my father." "oh right, forsythe pendleton THE III"
"hand me your schedule." she told me. i handed her the piece of paper principal weather bee had given me earlier that day.
"science, math, geography- i dont have any classes with you but ill show you where those classses are." she says.
we walk until this classroom. it looked old. "here is the science lab. it was made in 1972 and looks like it hasn't been redecorated ever since." she says and smiles.

we finished the tour and it was time for lunch. i made my way to the cafeteria as i saw jughead looking lost holding his lunch tray. "jughead, over here." i said
he makes his way over to mine, kevins, archies and bettys table. "guys this is jughead." they all wave. he sits down beside me and puts down his tray on the table.
we were all chatting when suddenly this girl came to our table. "jughead, you didn't tell me you were here." she says. "i got here last night. umm... guys, meet my girlfriend, rebecca."
everyone waves. "can i sit?" rebecca said. i get up and say "take my spot." and gave her a smile.
