A/n: Head on over to the cast chapter for a visual on this new character being introduced. ;)
Plus, sorry for the delay and a few updates were done here and there. I hope you enjoy. :)After such dejecting or rather heart shattering encounter Razielle just had with a person she considered close enough to be her brother, she had a lingering thought,
That if she was going to do this all alone, then she might head over to a club and maybe enjoy her last night of absolute freedom in the time to come. Only, If she would be around to witness that time.
Though, as soon as she left her home, she felt something was off.
No matter how much shit she'd do, Griffin would never go off on her like that. But he did, and all she needed right now was a few drinks in her system to get her functioning again.
But again, she had this weird paranoid doubt in her mind that she was being watched or followed. And with her looking around to check her surroundings and make sure nothing was there, she was convinced this was her mind playing tricks on her.
So she continued down her path to a fairly packed club. Upon entering her eardrums were welcomed with insanely loud music thumping over the speakers, she however, continued her way to the bar and sat on an empty stool besides a gentleman that seemed to be pretty intrigued with his drink.
"Give me whatever's the strongest."
Razielle ordered her drink and the bartender strutted off to make her drink, while this caught the attention of the man next to her.
"Rough night?"
The stranger tried to stir up a conversation with Razielle, but she paid no mind. She barely even turned around to look at him when she answered in a monotone voice,
"Trust me, you don't wanna know."
"Oh, but I do though."
This had Razielle's attention as she turned around to face the extremely attractive male sitting beside her.
She narrowed her eyes at this man, who just stared at her waiting for an answer, until he realized and spoke again.
"Oh! How rude of me. Name's Balor, I'm kind of new here, here to see someone special and thought why not enjoy my trip. What about you?"
At the same instance the bartender entered again and slided Razielle's drink in front of her.
Seeing this as an opportunity as Razielle still hadn't spoken, Balor took out his wallet and handed the money to the awaiting bartender.
"The lady's drink is on me."
"I didn't ask you to pay, and neither did I ask for your name or story" Snapped Razielle due to her fairly bitter mood as the words of Griffin still rang in her head.
"Well, correct. But you didn't tell me to shut up either,"
That poor Balor was only trying to make a light hearted joke and start a conversation with the breathtaking beauty in front of him, but it certainly wasn't his lucky day.
"Well, then shut up."
Balor was surprised to say the least, as he mumbled a 'as you wish' under his breath and turned away from Razielle.
-------
After more than enough drinks in her system, Razielle decided to leave. She wasn't quite sure where would she go, she was probably racking up the option of staying in a motel for a few nights so that way she could work on her plan without being disturbed by anyone in particular.
As the somewhat dizzy Razielle exited the nightclub, she again had a lingering paranoia in the back of her mind that she was being watched.
With her not entirely in control of herself, she tried to see if anyone was following her to find no one is pursuit of her.
Although when she turned again, she screamed at the top of her lungs, seeing a very disturbingly terrifying creature standing in front of her. She couldn't quite make out what the hell it was before it lunged onto her.
She put out here hands in front of her tried to kick the creature, most probably another demon, off her but it was stronger. And with the creature's mouth getting dangerously close to her she had no idea what to do.
She still mustered all her strength and managed to push the vicious thing off her, but much to her awful luck she saw more of them standing behind each other snarling upon the sight of her on the ground.
As her eyes slowly started turning the electrifying blue signifying she was turning into her werewolf form but she stopped upon hearing someone shout her name from the back.
Upon squinting her eyes, she saw the same guy from the bar yelling her name from a distance.
With a grunt Razielle looked back to the front to see that the terrifying creatures which seconds ago tried to probably suck the soul out of her, were now gone.
Confused she looked back again, and shouted,
"What the hell do you want now?"
"Firstly, what are you doing on the ground, and second of all, I think rather you'd want this," the guy extended his arm forward and opened his palm to reveal a navy blue ring enclosed in his hand. "You forgot this at the bar."
Razielle's eyes almost popped out of their socket as she stood up and snatched the ring from his hand and put it upon her index finger with a sigh.
"Thanks." She muttered. Her night wasn't going fairly amazing to so say already and losing this ring would probably lead her insane.
It was her father's ring and Leno had handed it to her a while back when he told the three of them, the truth about themselves.
As per Leno, it was a special ring. It signified the special and unbreakable bond between him and her father but when he dropped his daughter in Leno's arms, he also left his ring.
But even Leno didn't explain why her father thought it was necessary to drop his ring along her. And even she didn't pay much mind to it.
And it was indeed a special ring, and Leno did tell her how it would glow red upon its own when one of them was in trouble or when a demonic being circled among them while it would also exhibit a white glow when they were both within a 5 mile radius from each other.
It was to ensure that the bond between the two lasted forever and no power could come in between the two that wore the ring.
But what also was a specialty of this particular ring that it had been passed down for centuries in the history of the Asgarhs, and whoever was its true owner and when it enclosed upon their finger, his/her initials were instantly carved upon it.
So, saying 'special' was an understatement.
Although, when Razielle snapped out of her daze, she looked at Balor confused as to why the demons disappeared upon his arrival. Coming to a conclusion that it was probably because it didn't want to expose itself to a mortal they vanished.
"No problem. You're walking home? I could drop you off if you want?" Balor offered to Razielle when he felt a few droplets of water fall upon his face. "I think a storm is brewing" he said with a chuckle while looking up towards the pitch black sky surrounded by heavy clouds that were waiting to burst any moment.
Razielle contemplated the offer, but with the storm coming and the recent encounter she just had she decided to stick with Balor.
Razielle nodded her head and followed the guy to his car, thinking that he hadn't been of much harm yet, and even if he was she'd probably be able to defend herself.
With the lingering thought in mind she settled in his car, and said,
"To the Vertex Motel please."
