Chapter 5 - Gander

I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face.Last night was one of the best nights Ever I woke up by myself in my house.I look around the room when I open my eyes and all I can see is empty sleeping bags."Wow they left me",I think".But a few seconds latter they come back in and sit down with unopened packs of bred and ham.They say we went down the road and found this food market.Yummy look like were having ham sandwichs.When they sit down Mitchell says "its time".I sit there thinking then I say "time for what".Madison stands up and brings in a boy around our age.She says that they found him in the back of the food market "he says his name is Wes".He comes over to me and talks."Hi my name is wes I'm 13 years old".I ask him what his story was,how did he end up in that food market.He says "I was sleeping at home.I woke up and everyone was gone".The I ask was he with anyone.He says "yes I was with a girl she said her name was Bev Mercer".Madison asks what happened to her.He says "she died on the way,she risk her life for me then she ended up dead".Madison's face goes pale and tears rush to hey eyes.Brady's asks her what hey last name is.She says "Mercer".She starts to speak again saying that "she was my mom we were together until we were chased by walkers".The room is quite and still.It is like that for awile,even when we are eating.Complete silence.Madison broke the silence aand started to say."Guys I'm so upset about this but its done and over with.We cant just be quite forever".Yea she right I guess.But we soon realize that wasn't the only thing that was about to make noise.I guickly get up and look down the road.All I see is so many walkers."There back" I say.We all get ready and open the door and run.All we can no see is all the walker chasing us.I see a blue car up ahead and I yell "look guys".We all run up to the car everyone gets in.Luckly Mitchell Mitchell knows how to hotwire a car.By the time he has it dont the walkers are at the door and jumping on top of the car trying to get in.Then we are off.Mt dad tought me how to drive a little bit a few years ago.We are going so fast.Mitchell yells slow down.Up ahead there is a sign.When we get there we get out because the sign is really dirty.When i get out of the car to go see where we are going, i notice that there is scatter walkers walking through the medows.I guickly go to the sign and wipe it off it says 13 miles until gander.I run back to the car,get in and say."Guys i guess it looks like we are going to Gander.Mitchell starts the car agin.we are gone.Wow i think to myself.The sign said 13 miles but we have been driving for along time."Look" there it is wes says.We drive past a sign that says Gander.There isn't a walker in sight.This is weird Maddie says.We all look at each other.There might be some hear I add.Maybe everyone else says.We drive slowly don't the road driving past houses.We make a stop and put down the windows because Brady says hes gonna be car sick.All I hear is a scream and I look back a walker leaned in the window a bit brady's hand.I get out and stab the walker in the head.I get in the car Brady is crying.Hes is so much pain."The virus is spreading" Mitchell says."The what" I say.Mitchell one again says the virus.He explains to us that he will soon end up as one of them things.Well we need to find a hospital."Yea"wes says maybe there might be something to find to help him with.There is Mitchell says.I then speack up "there is to guys,Mitchell is right I remember seeing it in a zombie movie before,its called fix syrum.Well we need to get it Brady says so weakly.He passes out.Then I say yea guys brady's right we have to get that syrum,and we have to get it now.We leave to find a hospital.Bradys face goes pale.We have to hurry.
