"I got it! Mom! I got it!" James raced through the door, grabbing their mother and picking her up in a hug.

"What, sweety? Got what?"

He nearly shrieked. "I got brought into the majors!"

"Really?" Skayler jogged down the stairs, hair tied up in the laziest of buns, sweatpants on alongside a sports bra.

He nodded vigorously, eyes shining bright.

"Who brought you up?" Their mom gripped his biceps tightly.

"The Cubs!" Silence spread around after that. Skayler ran out of the room before back in with a cross held tightly. Pressing it against his chest, she made a hissing noise as though it was freezing water poured over a hot pan.

Screaming, she jumped back. "Its the devil! Everybody run!" She ran from the room, sliding underneath the kitchen table. The two others laughed, before their mother sighed and looked up.

"I still won't cheer for the Cubs, if anything against them," James sighed, looking away.

Pulling her in for a hug, he sighed and mumbled a few 'I know's'. Skayler came back into the room before joining the hug.

Shaking his head, James looked down.

"I was the first born, but I always thought you'd be the first to get into the league,"

"If I'll ever," James pulled away at that, looking down at her. Shaking his head, he grunted softly.

"No, you will," he sighed. Dropping his shoulders he grabbed her own to make her face him. "You will and you will be the best of the best. Forget speed, but your accuracy will be the killer part of your pitching. Whatever you do, do not let them get to you," he finished softly before tugging her close.

"You're still an ass,"

Gasping loudly, he pushed her away. "I am not,"

Smirking softly, she tilted her head to the right. "Are too,"

Their mom threw her arms around their shoulders, with her in the middle, and led them into the kitchen.

"Alright you four year olds, lets get you a snack and put you down for bed," their mom had snickered out.

Sighing out, Skayler looked at her small family and smiled.

This was enough.

This would be enough.
