Humans are quite the naive creatures to say so, the determinants of chaos and bloodshed. But still quite naive. And still unaware of the world around them.
Oh, they had the best lives handed out to them in platters, and yet they blabber about how unfortunate they are.
Fortunately for you humans, your newborns weren't born into a place where there was no account for a child's first step or word. The only thing mattered was when the child would get their own 'mark'. A mark that was certainly not alike any human works, a mark that distinguished their kind from other, and granted them vicious powers, something that was still regarded as legends.
Although, quite interesting was the fact how not all newborns could sustain the mark, only the most powerful and deserving would receive this honor. And for some reasons, girls were never deserving enough for this ceremony.
Too weak, too fragile, and considered an abomination with orders of immediate execution.
