I have wondered for many years: when will this hell end? When will i finally be able to stop fleeing from my past? Will that day ever come?
...
Will my questions ever be answered?
POV: Absol
As I stood at the edge of twist mountain a soft breeze stroked my delicate fur. When I saw the morning sun rises above the horizon I was reminded of how these mountain these mountains have always been the one place that I have ever truly been able to call home.
I shuffled the scythe on my silver necklace into my fur and took a deep breath before sliding down the cliff; something I've always enjoyed doing before starting my day.
Once I stopped at my favorite hunting trail a yelp so loud that nearly gave me a heart attack caught my attention. I looked around and saw a young lurantis staring at me wide eyed as though she had seen a ghost or something.
"Are you okay?" I asked, tilting my head.
Her eyes suddenly sparked with joy. "That Was Awesome!!!" she squealed, Bouncing around enthusiastically. "You literally just slid down a cliff! And you weren't even afraid!"
I blush, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Thanks," I replied shyly, moving away, though she only moved closer.
"Do it again! DO IT AGAIN!!!" She chanted happily. I sighed.
'Maybe if I do slide further I'll be able to get away from her.' I thought bitterly, peeking over the edge. Before i could test that theory, I heard loud footsteps heading our way. As I looked down the trail and saw a trainer and its beedrill rushing towards us. I hopped away, gaining enough room to have time to prepare for whatever would come my way.
The trainer stoped beside the lurantis while the beedrill position itself in between me and them. The trainer was a young boy with with blond hair and blue eyes. he wore blue jeans as well as a white t-shirt. "Hey! Mantis, are you okay?" He asked franticly, "We've been looking everywhere for you, but you were nowhere to be found"
"I'm fine" The lurantis, apparently known as Mantis, replied.
Absol tried to listen to the lurantis's words, but he was interfered by a buzz coming from the beedrill. When the absol turn towards it the beedrill shot forward, jabbing the white furred pokemon with its drill.
Absol let out a yelp before tumbling to the ground. Before he could rise to his feet something hit his head. Absol's eyes widened as he saw a red and white sphere roll past him and open up with a bright red light.
'Oh for the love of god..." he muttered before being trapped into the small red and white prison known as a poke ball
