Chapter 3

We spent the rest of the day just talking and laughing in her room because it's only 3:30.

We eat dinner with her family at about 6:20 and we had spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, and some lemonade. In the middle of dinner, there was a ding coming from my phone, indicating I got a text message. I didn't look at it because that would be rude.

But who would be texting me at this time? I look at Camila and she looks at me confused. She takes my phone because she knows I don't want to be rude.

She looks at it and nearly drops my phone in her spaghetti. She looks like she's about to scream. I look at her mom and she looks confused.

"What?" I say as I grab my phone from her grip.

I do the same thing she did but I drop my phone in my lap. She looks at me and we just hug.

"What happened girls?" Camila's mom asks.

Camila just shakes her hand in her moms face and wraps it back around me.

When the hug ends, I look at the phone again to see if it was real. It was. Calum texted me.

He said, "Hey this is Calum I just wanted to say hi. So how're you doing?"

I take in a deep breath and reply saying, "Hey! I'm doing good. How about you?" Is that good? I don't know.

I release my breath while clicking send. Camila looks at what I said and gives me a thumbs up telling me my answer was good.

I finish off my garlic bread and put my dishes in the sink. I wait for Camila to finish and then we go back to her room.

When we get in there, she stops and turns around in her place. I smile and she gives me another hug.

"A lot has happened in these past two days." I laugh.

She just nods and let's go of the hug. I stay holding on to her hand as we walk to her bed and lay down. We both release a huge breath.

We just lay there, discussing more about the lunch until about 8.

I go into the bathroom and remove my makeup, brush my teeth and hair, wash my face, and go back in the bedroom and lay down. Camila did the same and now she's laying down too.

We both chill and talk and tweet until we fall asleep at around 11.

I wake up by my phone dinging indicating a text has arrived. Camila shakes me when she hears my phone. I open my eyes and see that she's sitting up on her phone. "How long have you been up?" I ask.

"I don't know, about an hour-ish. Your phone dinged." She says, gesturing towards my phone.

"Oh did Ashton ever text you? I could tell he liked you." I smile at her.

She looks at me like I'm crazy. "There's no way Ashton Irwin likes me. You're crazy. And no he hasn't texted me yet."

"Yes. He does, believe me I can tell." I smile at her and grab my phone.

It's from Calum. I get really excited all of a sudden before I slide it open to see what it says.

It says, "Hey it's me again, sorry I never answered last night, I fell asleep pretty early."

I reply with, "It's cool, I understand. So what're you up to?"

He replies about 2 minutes later saying, "Just got out of the shower, how about you?"

I got chills right after I read that. I immediately showed Camila and she breathed up really heavily and just looked at me. I started smiling and I replied saying, "Woke up a couple minutes ago. What're you doing today?"
