Third Person POV:Two people were walking through the forest, one wearing a silver Greek chiton while the other wore a simple tunic with several furs draped around his body. The two were adamantly talking to one another about one thing or another but they seemed to be having a great time in each other's company.
"So that's how you killed the boar?" the man said with a light chuckle as the woman smiled smugly and nodded
"Of course! How else would you do it?" She asked and the man smirked
"I would get above it and jump on it before driving a dagger into it's neck" he said proudly as the woman rolled her eyes
"Barbaric, its so messy, not clean at all" the woman complained with a small smile
Their conversation carried on like this for several more hours before the sky rumbled and lightning flashed across the sky.
"I guess that's my cue, I need to leave, but we will decide who the better hunter is when I return with my new domains" the woman said smugly and just as the man was about to bid her farewell, a light glowed from the woman's stomach forcing the woman to her back as she cried out in pain
The man hovered over the woman and his wolves surrounded them forming a perimeter just in case...
"Artemis, are you alright? What's happening!" He asked scared for his friend
"I... I... Don't know..." she said in confusion and pain as the light grew brighter until the area surrounding them was completely covered in light before it suddenly vanished leaving a small being in the man's arms
The being was human and was sleeping soundly but breathing normally. It was a young boy with hair black as raven feathers, when the man gasped, the boy opened his eyes slightly to reveal one with a silver iris and one with a black iris with a red pupil.
"Artemis... I think this is your child...?" the man said in shock but Artemis was shaking her head
"Orion..." Artemis said fear clearly evident in her voice as thunder rumbled again more threatening this time "I need to go, please get rid of it, I don't want it anywhere near here..."
"What do you want me to do with it?" He asked, understanding Artemis' decision completely
"I don't know... put it in the woods somewhere and leave it there" She said before flashing off
Orion looked to one of his wolves and motioned it over.
"Take the child far away from here and leave it in the forest. I don't want to know where it is got it?" He ordered and the wolf nodded its head before grabbing the child in its mouth and running into the forest
Orion then waited patiently for Artemis to return.
The wolf ran through the forest at a breakneck speed. The child still firmly in its mouth as it started to cry. After several hours of nonstop running it gently set the child down on a rock before it turned and ran back in the direction it came.
The child continued to scream and cry drawing the attention of several nature spirits who saw the child and quickly ran to his side. The dryads quickly tried to calm the child but it was fruitless as the child continued to cry and wail loudly, however a large satyr walked into the clearing and knelt next to the young boy. As soon as the Satyr got close to the boy, a curious expression overtook the child and he looked at the newcomer.
"So, this is how nature fights back... I thank the fates for gifting me this opportunity but am ashamed of the circumstances of how this came to be" the Satyr said before he picked up the child and looked at the nature spirits "Go and make sure the word does not spread to Olympus, we do not need unwanted attention" He said as he handed the child to a different Dryad who looked at the child with loving eyes "We shall raise him to be one with the wild"
However, the nature spirits didn't notice a flash of power flash through the child's eyes before he closed them and drifted into a peaceful sleep.
