Halloween Eve, Haddonfield, Illinois. The night was cold, dark and rainy. Lillie sat on her sofa watching The Thing as she munched on some popcorn. The Shape moved inside her home without a sound, hiding in the pitch black darkness of her kitchen. Outside the rain poured, thunder clashed and lightning illuminated the sky. The Power went out. Now Lillie sat in the inky murkiness of her living room. Closely, the killer shifted to the same room, lurking in the deep shadows of the corner. Walking into the poorly lit kitchen, Lillie searched for a flashlight and a few candles. Unable to find both, the power came back on, unaware that the shape was behind her.

He made a decisive strike at the girl, before he stabbed her. Leaving her now lifeless body there, The Shape took her car, driving to Derry, Maine, suspecting maybe his little sister Laurie would be living there.

In the meantime the storm shifted the masked man to the right direction. He parked the car on the sidewalk on the road from Jackson to Neibolt, stalked each house till he was sure that his baby sister was in one of them, just that she had to be in. He walked a step further to the large house and heard a voice from behind calling him. When Michael turned, only a tiny storm drain with a couple of yellow glowing eyes looked at him. He took his sharp, silver companion in his hand and moved to the call. He now had a glimpse of the glowing orbs and got on his hands and knees. His head tilt, his silence swept the rain, as the matter moved into the light. "Hello, stranger."

It gave a smile. It had a white face, red marks and glowing yellow eyes. Hair blazing like July. Michael knew what it was precisely: a clown. He loved clowns, and it entertained him since he was a small child. Seeing everything a clown did. By contrast, the clown knew Michael Myers. Everyone knew the Haddonfield's Shape, and he had effectively got away with all his renowned killings. "Oh, don't be confused, just want to offer you a balloon!" A red balloon suddenly emerged next to him, and Michael looked at it in confusion. "I'm Pennywise, the dancing clown! I understand a lot about you, and I'm thrilled. You're not a talker... are you?" In reaction, Michael slowly shook his head, the knife still grasped strongly in his hand. "I need you to do me a little favor." Pennywise persuaded. "I need you to put fear in the hearts of the children who reside here in Derry, so I can feast on their flesh and take my 27-year rest. Will you do that for me?" The masked murderer quietly lowered his head, almost as if stating' no.'

"Well, if you help me, I'm going to help you kill your sister, what do you say?" Michael's head shot up, he wanted to get to Laurie, and if Pennywise stuck to his word, he was willing to do it. The clown devilishly smiled. "Good. More fear will you generate, the sewers will lure them in...."  A little deep chuckle choked out. "Go, find them all! Bring them to me and I will help you." Returning to his feet, Michael searched every house and found a sleeping child in their beds. He lurked in the shadows one by one, waiting for one of them to get up. For reasons that led children to fear him, he was called' the Boogeyman.'
