If I could somehow get these cuffs off then we might be able to boost our odds of survival by a significant amount.

"Rolwin uncuff me if you wanna live!?" I whisper/yelled

"If I wanna live it won't be by uncuffing you Elf!"

'He's gonna regret making that decision oh well it's his choice' I thought to my self he's such an idiot my thoughts were interrupted by the unsheathing of swords.

"Hand over the prisoner and no one gets hurt well apart from the Elf traitor!" he yelled over the clamouring of the townsfolk and the daily rush.

"Hmm let me think about that" Rolwin said with a hint of sarcasm "nope sorry ain't gonna happen" he then finished and got the cuffs off of me "'bout time you did something useful" I said quietly to him he could clearly sense that we weren't going to be able to get out of here without a fight.

The guards were getting more impatient as the minutes went by until one of them drew his sword and lunged at Rolwin I unsheathed my sword from his belt and blocked it slightly...

"What are you doing your going to get yourself killed!?" he said while the fight escalated into a battle that we didn't have time for.

"I'm trying to make sure you don't end up dieing before your time!" I answered.

"What do you mean 'before my time?'" he asked at the most inconvenient of times like seriously any other time would be great I thought to myself but instead I replied

"Can we have this conversation later when it isn't a do or die situation!"

"I suppose we could if we make it out alive" Rolwin replied clearly giving in to me I rolled my eyes.

My focus was on the battle at hand from that moment on as I was dodging swords of all shapes and sizes including daggers from all directions blocking most until...

Suddenly out of the corner of my eye to my right I could see Rolwin losing his fight with the General of the guards as he lifted up his sword over a fallen Rolwin I ran to him and blocked the General's sword with mine and used all of my strength to make him lose his balance and fall back.

I quickly went to see if Rolwin was OK.

Sorry for not updating this in such a long time also for a short chapter I got writers block about half way through writing it so here's a cliffhanger again
