Jacob’s pov:

The music is blaring so loud that you can hear it from a few streets away.
Entering the house you can see drunk teenagers everywhere dancing to the music, others drinking, you can smell the alcohol . I couldn't find tommy anywhere .going up stares entering every room i finally found him but he wasn't alone.

"Tommy i ..what are you doing ? Samantha looked startled and quickly  pushed him off her.

"what is this?" I asked them angrily.

"what is this ? For how long ?" i repeated  holding the collar of his t-shirt.

"This is not what it looks like "he tried explaining.

But before he could say anything else i punched him hard. I started hitting him.

" how could you do this to me, you are supposed to be my best friend , my brother you cheat on me with my girlfriend "i screamed angrily at him .

Samantha was crying  loudly begging me to stop "Jacob stop, please. I'm begging you please, Jacob".

i finally returned to my senses and realised what i was doing. Tommy's face was bloody .I left after sending a look of disgust towards her .While leaving the house,i could see many faces watching this scene. There are gonna be rumours tomorrow.

i was so angry i entered the car and slamed the door shut.I screamed out of frustration and anger. I pressed on  the brakes, not wanting  to hear the music or see the house anymore .I was going so fast that houses and streets were blurred. All i was thinking about what did i do ? How could they do this to me? How long has been this going on ? I was so lost in my thoughts and didn't see the truck coming towards me and when i saw it. It was already too late and then everything went black.

1week later:

What's happening my head hurts my whole body hurts ,i am trying to open my eyes ,but i can't  my head hurts.

"i can see you are awake "

"Who are you? What's happening? i feel like i have been hit by a truck , my head hurts" i said gritting my teeth.

"Well you are in a hospital ..."

"What?..”

"You've been hit by a truck. You are really lucky you got hit pretty hard .My name is doctor james Mathews. Is there anything you want to ask about?".

"Well can i ask why the lights are closed. I am already awake please, turn it on?."

"Honey what are you talking about the lights are not turned off".

"Mum ..is this you ?where are you ?what do you mean? i can't see anthing ?" I can hear my voice breaking.

"Doctor what is happening?" i could hear my father's voice asking doctor james.

"I am afraid we need to do some tests first .I need you all to calm down".

After 2 hours in doctor james's office:
" Jacob's head was hit strongly . Nerves in part of his brain was damaged which caused blindness" .

"Oh my god .." his mother was crying.

"What are we gonna do now ? Should he undergo a surgery , we are ready if you wanna do it now " his dad's voice was breaking. He was completely helpless.

" I am sorry but no surgery could help him now , there is nothing i can do . I need your cooperation and you need to get hold of yourselves . You need to be stronger to be able to tell him the news ".

" what do you mean get hold of ourselves you want to tell my son that he became  blind , that he will never see again" his mother screamed at dr. james,her husband was holding her .
