Relationship Breaker

Chapter Three

Yume came face to face with a surprising person. She blinked as she looked at the long pink hair.
"Ummmm.... Sakura..... it's been a long time," Yume smiled. She wasn't quite sure what to say. "How are you?"
"Save it! I can't believe Subaru would chose an annoying girl like you over me... it's even been ages, I figured if I let you guys be you'd eventually break up!" Sakura complained. "But it's been a year and nothing!"
"Ummmm... Sakura I can hear you," Yume wasn't sure what was going on.
"I'm aware of that, I'm complaining to you, if you couldn't hear I would just be talking to myself!" Sakura sighed. "Anyway, Yume since I got tired of waiting I decided to declare rivalry with you again," Sakura declared.
"Eh?" Yume was completely confused.
"That's right we will compete tomorrow," Sakura walked away.
"What just happened?" Yume wondered. "Wait she didn't give a time!"
"At one," Yume heard Sakura yelling.

"I ran into Sakura today," Yume smiled at Subaru. Subaru spat out the milkshake he was drinking.
"Are you alright! Did she threaten you in anyway!" Subaru panicked.
"No... she seemed different though.... how to say this," Yume thought for a moment. "She seemed more honest, more upfront.... I think I prefer it this way... she's lees mean.... I think.... earlier I'm not sure did she was complimenting me or not," Yume admitted.
"Probably not," Subaru sighed.
Anyway, we're having another competition tomorrow, I'm not sure why but she seemed so determined and I couldn't refuse... actually I didn't get a chance to refuse," Yume sweat dropped slightly.
"Alright.... don't lose," Subaru wondered what their conversation was about.
"I won't, I have the support of my friends, my fans, my teachers and you!" Yume grinned and Subaru blushed.
"Alright, hurry up and drink your milkshake, I have work to get to soon," he changed the subject. Yume nodded and did as he told her.

And so the competition came quickly. (Thanks to the authors amazing ability to time skip)

Sakura was up first, just like the first time they competed.

"Wow! She's even better than she was a year ago!" Yume smiled. "Nijino Yume, ready to go!"

"And the winner is!" The two lines went forwards and backwards until they stopped. "Nijino Yume!"

Yume smiled happily.
"Yume, this time I want to congratulate you properly," Sakura said. Yume was confused. "And I also want.... to apologise,"
"Eh! N-no it's fine! I mean I didn't even realise, I just thought that Sakura was extremely cool so you shouldn't apologise!" Yume shook her head.
"This time can we be friends for real?" Sakura asked. Yume smiled.
"Of course!"
