In was passed midnight when Diana was back in the Mansion but sadly what she wasn't expecting was to be catch in her tracks as soon as she was about to enter her room by none other than her uncle Mokuba
Mokuba: and where have you bin? *asks not angry but more amused*
Diana: I was getting some air. I needed some time alone *says as she opens her door and offers him to come in*
Mokuba: *smiles and nods as he enters* some air? Did something happen? *asks curious and a little worried*
Diana: Media talks, exams, dueling. Same old and nothing new *says as she walks over to her wardrobe and pulls her traveling bag out to see what she has in it so far*
Mokuba: i see, got other plans this night or tomorrow? *asks curious seeing her looking into one of her bags*
Diana: Sort of. I will be moving out soon *says as she opens her purse and moves some things in her bag*
Mokuba: What? Why? Does my brother know? *asks his eyes wide*
Diana: Because I don't belong here and I haven't told him yet
Mokuba: you do belong here Diana, what makes you think other wise? You do realize that my brother is NOT gonna be happy when he finds out. *frowns*
Diana: Your brother never wanted to be a father in the first place and my mother also didn't want that. Besides I'm not close with him. Never was and never will. He took me in because he knows what it's like to live where you both did before you were adopted and I get why. However as much as I am gratefulfor what he did for me. I can't stay here longer than expected
Mokuba: that is not true Diana...listen he cares about you just as much as he cares about me. He just...doesn't really know how to show it...he's used to it being just me and him. Just talk to him so you can hear and see it yourself. Believe me Diana if anyone known my brother its me.
Diana: I'm not going to force him into something he never wished for. And please don't try to prove me otherwise. My mother told me enough when I saw her today. She told me the whole story and that gave me enough to decide what to do next in my life. And that's to leave the same was I came with my bag, clothes and the savings I got to last me till I get a job *says as she opens her desk and takes out a few things as well as her diary*
Mokuba: *sighs knowing all to well he wont be able to change her mind* if its what you really want i guess i wont stop you but know that i'll miss you Diana. *says with the frown still on his face*
that's also when Seto comes home and decides to check on his sibling and daughter.
Diana: I know and I will miss you too .... but none of this feels right nor does this place feel like home to me *says as she gathers her things she got the first day she got there out of her bag*
Mokuba: if you really feel that then you find the place where it feels right and where you feel home. Just know that our door will always be open if you wish to come back. *says with a sad smile while showing her he means it*
Thats also when Seto reaches Diana's room and enters sins the door was still open.
Kaiba: here you two are. *says as he walks in*
Mokuba: *turns his head and smiles* hey Seto, welcome home.
Kaiba: *shows a small smile* thank you Mokuba, is something going on here? *asks looking between his brother and Diana*
Diana: Nothing of any greater importance sir *says without looking at him as she looks for the shoes she came with before she got wrapped up in the life of riches and fame*
Kaiba: Sir? you never call me that. Okay now i'm sure something is going on here before i came home. *crosses his arms showing a look that says "out with it"*
Mokuba decides to speak up and tell him what's going on having a feeling that Diana wont tell him.
Kaiba: Oh No, Diana you are not leaving...this is your home and i am your father, your guardian, you will continue to live under my roof. I don't know what she told you but i am not allowing you to leave just like she did...not you...*a sad look covers his eyes*
Diana shakes her head as she stops in her tracks after reaching the bed and sits down on it as tears start to run down her face when the first sob breaks out of her throat
both kaiba brother frown as they both walk closer to Diana and take a seat on each side of her.
Kaiba: Diana? What's wrong? Why are you crying? Please don't cry...*places a hand gently between her shoulders and starts rubbing circles hoping it will help*
Diana: Because I don't belong here ..... I have to leave .... I'm sorry but .... I don't feel right here *says between sobs as she reaches over to hide her diary in her bag as well*
Kaiba: Mokuba, can i speak to Diana alone please?
Mokuba: Sure, i'll be going to room then...Night.
Kaiba: Night Mokuba. *says as Mokuba disappears completely after witch he turns back to Diana* You do belong here Diana, you always have. I don't understand why this all doesn't feel right to you...*frowns but continues to rub circles* stay here...me and Mokuba care so much about you...we don't want to lose you...we were so happy when you started living here. *speaks calmly trying to keep his emotions under control and out of his voice*
Diana: I really can't. I am expecting too much from you and I don't think you realize what I mean when I say that nothing seems right to me at all here
Kaiba: No, not all. If i don't understand explain it to me...talk to me cuss i want to understand...tell me what i can to change your mind about leaving.
Diana: All I ever wanted was to feel that I am loved... But that never happened and it never will in the near by future. I lived a poor life before I came but that never bothered me. What did hurt me tho was when I was told I was never planed or wanted in this world by my parents....
Kaiba: No...that is not true...you are loved...more then you know or realize. You are not unwanted Diana...believe me.
Diana : I don't think I can.... Your should know well that there is a difference between knowing and feeling.... And I am not planning to force you into something you never wanted in the first place
Kaiba: Diana, you are not forcing me to anything...i'm doing this out of my own free will. Of course there is a difference between knowing and feeling but believe me when i tell you that i mean every word that i say. *takes her into his arm holding her/hugging her tightly* You have to believe this...for you it feels wrong but to me it feel right...so right having you here with us...with me.
Diana hugs him back around the shoulders tightly at she continues sobbing in his neck this time instead
Kaiba: please, just stay...don't leave...i want you here...i need you here. *keeps a tight grip on her while comforting her as good as he can*
Diana : How can I trust you.. These are mainly words and I don't take empty promises to good Seto
Kaiba: I love you Diana, i always have...i love you more then a father should...but if you wont believe what i say...i guess i'll have to show you. *sighs before lifting her chin up and places his lips on hers hoping that she will believe him now*
Diana gasps in surprise as she kisses now that she starts to get a fussy feeling in her stomach while her arms snake tightly around his neck as well
Kaiba:*smiles as keeps her close and tightly and thinks* There is no way i'm lettingher go...i love her so so much and i hope she now understands and that she willstay here with us...with me...i'll give her anything she wishes, i'll make heras happy as i can and i'll try to show her how much she is loved. I know afather being in love with his child is wrong and many people will be against itbut...i don't care about that...i only care about Diana and Mokuba...they aremy family. Thank you Diana for coming into my life. *lets his eyes closeenjoying this moment as long as he can*
