{Karen's POV}
I wish he could stay around longer, I still don't know his name but I have fallen deep in love with him. "Hey, what about you. What's your name?" I ask. He turned to face me. "Pete" he simply said, not sparing a glance. "Stay still, the human is coming" he whispered.
As he said that, a human barged into the bathroom, taking me into their pink flesh. "what the-" and I get sprayed on by toothpaste. "P-" I cant even finish when I get shoved into a mouth and having to clean their teeth. Morning breath, always disgusting. God those front teeth, I can tell they drink a lot of Dr. pepper and coffee. Yikes.
After that, they leave. "You okay?" I hear Pete say, worry laced in his voice with a hint of pain. "Yeah, you?" I looked at him. He just nodded. I noticed he looked flatter. "Why are you so flat?" I asked. He just wiped at his tears. "If I run out of toothpaste, the human will throw me away and I will die" he sniffed. "I need to tell you something, just in case I never say it"
"I love you, Karen."
