Our group members included Sebastian, Vanessa, Loren, Luis, Maritza , and I. Of course Luis asked if I saved a spot for Rebecca, but I told him it was almost impossible to save him one so I didn't. He looked a little disappointed, but he knew how these things went.
Hey I swear I did try, this group was the only one taking in 2 more people.

Our school had rented a very nice bus for trips around Cali. The seats were recliners and each had cup holders. The bus had plenty of space to walk through and to stretch your legs as well as space for our bags. Our ride was smooth and we arrived to our first destination in 20 minutes. It was the Golden Gate Bridge. The motel we were staying in was actually in San Francisco, so this first stop wasn't far, if anything it was the closest. One thing I recall from everything the tour guide said was that 11 men were killed during construction. Up until February 1937, there had been only one fatality, which had set a new all-time record in the field. However, on February 17, a section of scaffold carrying 12 men fell through the net. Only two men survived the 200-foot fall into the icy waters.
After spending an hour learning about the bridge and taking some pictures we went back to the bus for the next landmark, the Japanese tea garden. We got there within 20 minutes and spent another hour talking about it's history. I learned that the garden is known as the oldest public Japanese garden in all of the United States. By the end of the tour it was lunch time so as an appetizer we went to the teahouse and tried many different samples as well as getting different tea packets for free. Vanessa and Sebastian bought 3 different types of tea boxes since it was a steal of deal. Maritza isn't into tea so she didn't buy anything, she only tried about 4 types of tea. Luis, Loren, and I tried all of them and took as many free packets as we could for later. Since it was now half past noon, we headed back to the busses and made our way to a seafood restaurant landmark called the Tadich Grill. We spent the next 2 hours with the members in our group in one table. Vanessa and Sebastian were actually dating so they already knew each other well and Maritza came along with Loren. We all hit it off and decided to hang out at the pool afterwards. The mission murals was our next stop. Since we were pretty full, our chaperones decided to take us on a walk by the murals. So we took a few pictures here and there and at one of them Vanessa, Sebastian, Luis, Maritza, Loren, and I took a group photo because the mural was perfect for a background picture and as a memory. For our last sojourn we arrived at the Palace of Fine Arts. Just like the murals but more. We all walked around looking at paintings, sculptures, artifacts, and exhibits. Lastly, we came on a perfect day to watch a play. It was exclusive and only happens once every 5 years. There was a theater within the museum and so we took it as an opportunity to end our day.

6pm:
It was time for dinner by the time the play ended so we all made our way back to the motel. The members of our group all exchanged phone numbers and created a group chat, so that we would know when to head to the pool. I spent some time playing video games while everyone else got ready. Luis came to my room 10 minutes after I got ready and joined me in the game. After maybe 20 minutes everyone else was ready so we made our way downstairs. Vanessa and Sebastian had saved a table for the 6 of us and ordered drinks as well. Luis and I took our seats and started drinking while we waited for the others. The sun was setting and a light breeze was passing by. The evening was pleasant and relaxing. Maritza and Loren showed up 5 minutes afterwards and brought menus with the intention of paying for our food. Luis and I kinda felt bad because we didn't offer anything and weren't allowed to pay for our own food, but they insisted so we just decided that it was our treat next time.

The rest of the evening was great. We all jumped into the pool one by one and played a few games and challenges. Our food came and we talked, laughed, and all in all had a great time. For the rest of the night we just goofed around chasing each other and racing around the pool. Once it was 11pm, we all said our goodbyes and planned to do this again another time.
As I walked to my room while drying my hair, I noticed the lights were on, but I swore that I had turned them off before I left. At this moment I just figured it was room service and didn't think much of it so I went inside, but to my surprise I found Elizabeth on my bed fast asleep. I wondered "how did she get in if I locked the door?" And "why was she here?". She looked to peaceful so I didn't bother waking her up. I also saw that she had a bottle of vodka in her hand and her arm drooping off the bed toward the floor. I took the bottle and sat it on the bed side table also positioning her more comfortably and tucked her in a blanket. I went to the bathroom, took a shower, and proceeded to get ready for bed. As I'm brushing my teeth I hear Elizabeth talking. She says "Vin-cent you're so...." "damn... I-umm..you're" "I ca-n't find...words to say". I chuckled and finished what I was doing and went to go check on her. She kept talking but it sounded more like mumbling now. She was talking in her sleep. It was flattering knowing that I was in her dream, but I wonder what is it that's going on.
