{SCENE THREE}
[The camera follows Merida down from the castle to the stables where she begins brushing Angus's coat.]
UNKNOWN
He yours?
[Merida starts, nearly dropping her brush in the process. She turns around to see Jack leaning up against the stable wall.]
"You already there Jack?" Hiccup asked.
"Seems like it." Jack answered.
"That's almost as big of a plot twist as Snape being a good guy."
"JAYJI!"
MERIDA
Yeah. Who are ya?
JACK
Jackson Overland, but call me Jack.
MERIDA
'Aven't seen you around 'ere before.
JACK
Just moved here with my sister.
"We moved?!" Emma squealed, jumping onto Jack. "We moved! We moved! I'm going to make so many new friends!"
Everyone smiled and grinned at her sillyness.
High above hidden in the dark on a thunderstorm cloud, a figure loomed watching. None of them realised that small children didn't generally like to move house and leave their friends behind. How could they when none of them had ever moved? The figure looked over at Jack who was giving a strained but relieved smile.
The figure chuckled. There was a story behind this sudden move. Maybe he should send Pitch to find out?
"All in good time," the figure muttered, leaning back and smiling. "All in good time."
[There's a moment of silence before Jack also picks up a brush and starts cleaning Angus's coat with Merida.]
JACK
(Awe) He's a beauty.
"You bet 'e is!" Merida exclaimed proudly.
MERIDA
(Proud) 'is name is Angus. What are ye doin' in the stables?
JACK
Oh. I got a job here.
MERIDA
Ya did?
JACK
(Shrugs) Have to eat some how.
Tooth looked over at Jack and Emma concerned, shouldn't their parents be working?
UNKNOWN
Boy!
[Jack winces and turns around to see the Stable Master - red faced - bearing down on him.]
