Chapter 6 - Lets hang out

The rest of my school week went by a blur. I had a lot of assignments to do and a lot of other homeworks. My friends had been busy too. Rach had her presentation, Alex had his project in bio, and Jacob had been occupied with his book report. He finally settled to write the book report on a Harry Potter book. But atleast he read half of the Notebook and that means a lot to me.

Right now, I was cozily snuggled up in my bed as I was back from school and it was a Friday. I had no homework and no specific plans for the weekend. So why not enjoy myself? And what's better enjoyment than sleeping on your bed after a tired day!!

"Hey dumbo listen" I heard Noah barge into my room just as I was going to sleep.

"Ever heard of knocking you idiot?" I glared at him.

"Nope, I guess it's an entirely new concept... Anyhow I'm going with Sarah out for some icecream and mom and dad won't be home till late so I'm just informing you because your lazy ass won't move from the bed"

"Hey there, language little brother!!" I got up and sat on my bed.

"Okay fine, thanks for informing me but be back by 9pm. I don't want my 13 year old be kidnapped in the middle of the night." I chuckled as he sat next to me on the bed.

"Did you just put a curfew on me? He looked at me with a shocked expression.

"And don't you have any plans?" he asked me

I grinned at his reaction.

"No I don't have any plans, I'm just going to watch a movie or something." I replied

"Oh okay, you're such a loser" he laughed

"Hey!! Stop calling me names. I feel like I'm now not really revolted by the idea of you getting kidnapped." I looked at him with a serious expression.

We both burst into laughter and soon after he left leaving me alone in the house.

I went downstairs to the living room to get myself something to eat while I watch a horror movie.

Just then my phone rang. I picked it up to see Jacob's name pop up on my screen.

"Hello, What's up" I said receiving the call

"Hey, I just wanted to ask you if you'd want to come to my place? Alex and Rachel are coming too. I'm having a little party so if you're interested....?" Jacob said on the other end of the phone.

"Umm.. yeah I guess. I don't really have any other plans so why not?" I replied

"Okay great, then meet us here in another half an hour" he exclaimed with a little excitement that I could sense through the phone.

"Cool, I'll be there!"

I put down the phone and ran upstairs to my room to select what I would wear. I picked out a black sweater as it was kinda cold outside and matched it with a light blue jeans and a small necklace. What can I say? I'm not so good in the fashion department.

Anyways, I closed the door behind me, locking it obviously, and then got into the cab.

"Welcome, you're finally here" Alex said as he opened the door for me.

I fist bumped him and we walked together towards the living room as we saw Rachel sitting on the couch and scrolling through her phone. She didn't even realise I was there. So-freakin'-dumb this girl. The place was filled with people from our class and some of the people I don't really like too.. *cough Carmen cough*

Suddenly my eyes glistening at the mere sight of something.... or someone?
No guys no... It wasn't Jacob!
There was pizza, cookies and some various CD's on the table in front of us. Pizza....??? Pizza!!!!!! Well I was hungry anyways and this-this just made me happier.
