yes, he did in fact grow up in texas. he lived the yeehaw life and even grew up with red and blue sparkly cow boy boots that matched everything. he had a pony by the name of rainbow but he recently passed away. he would stargaze with him for his parents didn't enjoy it as much as he did and his siblings were much older and were interested in older people things.
to say that hannah montana was just a tv show to him was a huge understatement. he remembers watching her for the first time and wanting to dye his hair blonde. once his mother let him, he never wanted to change it until as of recently. he was obsessed with hannah and when he found out that hannah was really miley he was absolutely heartbroken. but he still continued to stan her though.
