Dedicated to G, to make up for the last time. Love you! :*
"Lacy, wake up! God, what is taking you-- why are you sleeping on the floor? Get up and go get dressed. We have to leave in an hour for your sister's graduation ceremony. Now chop-chop!" My mom said to me as she so easily hurled me up and pushed me in the bathroom.
"Okay! Could you take my dress out, atleast?" I told her before starting my hair curler. Is that what you call it?
After I've had an amazing normal tempreture bath, I come in my room to find my brother doing something on my computer. Wait, not doing something but watching something.
"What do you think you're doing? Get out I need to change. And why aren't you ready? GO!" I shout at him as he leaves my room chuckling at himself. Or more like me.
I change into my LBD (in the month of November, who cares?) I go back to the bathroom to curl my hair. I curl up the ends and turn the curler off before I burn te house down unlike Lorelai. She was this close to doing it if it hadn't been for her roommate, Emelia. She's one of a kind. And I'm talking about Lorelai. Not Emelia.
After so much running around for not finding my earrings and shoes, we finally get into the car, and drive off. But in the Binton family, nobody reaches anywhere on time.
"Why don't I hear any wailing? Mom, where's Tanner?" I ask narrowing my eyes at mom. My mom quickly looks around the car before shouting, "Quick Dan! Turn around I knida forgot Tan." My mom says sheepishly to my dad who just grunts in response and turns around.

Succesfully reaching with tanner and all the other babies, we hastily sit down in our seats. But, there's no seat left for me in the row which was provided for us. "Mom, where do I sit?' I whisper but she doesn't even face me, moreover hear me.
I huff and look for a seat but find only one seat empty next to, the oh-so great Julian Fox. In short, I don't like the guy. Sighing, for not standing for such a long time, I go and sit next to him. He doesn't even say hello. I roll my eyes-- wait, how do you roll your eyes? I've read it so many times but have never mastered the expression. I sigh again, and get up from my seat and walk out the door. Not wanting to see my little sister's graduation ceremony, I walk to the nearest café and use their free wifi. Before starting my little walk, I grab my white jacket with black triangles in it because it was starting to get a little cold.
The café nearby was a warm, cozy and a place which gives you the feeling that you're right at home. That's the reason why it's so famous for the people in universities whose families don't live nearby.
The bell above the front door ringed as I entered. The place was eerily silent and only two to three people were lingering around. I walked up to the counter and ordered my drink, a white chocolate machiato. Yum.
The girl who was handling the cash register and making the coffee's had some trouble with the coffee machine and kept on cursing and slamming it. After so many slams, I offered to help, "Hey, whats wrong? My brother's a mechanic so I can maybe, help you out."
She turned to look at me and smiled so wide, it was a miracle her face didn't break. . She opened the door for me to enter and points to the coffee machine. I walk over there and take off my sling bag and keep it on the platform. I look at it and pat it a little and then having absolutely no clue on what to do, I call Frank.
Ring
Ring
Ring
"Ello?"
"Hey frank!! How are you, bitc-big bro.." I look at that girl who looks at me smiling like a creep. I smile back.
"Lacy? Wha-Why are you calling me so early? Was-Uh oh what did you do lace?"
"I didn't do anything, I swear! I'm just here buying some coffee and the machine isn't working. I just need your help. It's amazing how you trust me oh-so much." I reply back.
After Frank told me what to do, and I did it, the coffee machine is back to work. I grab my coffee and a Oreo cupcake and sit down. I open my phone and connect the free wifi, the reason why I came here. The rush has gotten too much and there's barely any place to stand. I can see people leaving because of the queue. Their loss.
The girl (whose name i still don't know) is having a real hard time and I take pity on her. I'm about to go help her but my phone starts to ring.
And just as I'm picking it up (because it's my mom and if you dont pick up on the first ring, get ready to die), a guy comes by my side; "Is that seat taken?"
"Uh no. Go ahead." Because, I mean, who can say no to a cute guy? Not me.
"Hello mother. How may I help you?" And as soon as I say that, I move the phone away from my ear, you know, to not become deaf.
"Lacy Binton, where in the world are you? Your sister's graduation ceremony is about to get over." My mom said on the phone.
"So fast? Okay well I'm already nearby the place for the afterparty so I'll meet you guys there! Oka-" I was stopped by my mother asking me; "Where are you Lacy?"
"Mom, I'm at uh" I look around the café to find a name but come up with nothing. The cute guy in front of me looks at me and says; "Café Wynwood." taking a sip from his coffee cup (atleast that's what I think. It can be tea too. Or alcohol.) and continues reading whatever he was reading.
"Café Wynwood, mom. Have you heard of it?" I ask her narrowing my eyes on the cup of cute guy.
"Uh isn't that café owned by Mrs.--LAURA!!" My mom basically shouted in the phone and then the line was dead. Okay bye mom. I sigh and look up at cute guy to find him looking at me. Not only him but most of the people in the café. I blush and look down only to look up again when I hear a scream. A scream from the girl behind the counter.
And then I see a fire. Everybody starts screaming and someone's phone starts beeping loudly. Most of the people run away because of the fire. I jump from my seat and look around for something to stop the fire. But the only thing I see is a very angry Julian Fox coming through the doors and his eyes narrow down on me. Great.
