I studied my +2 in Nepal Mega college as a science student. i was a shy, nervous kid when it came to talking with girls and the college was full of girls. well i was in an awkward situation from the beginning of the first day as i saw the majority of students to be girls. i can call it to be my luck that i choose maths as my major subject because of which there were just 2 girls in my class in junior year.
I had my own group of friends, we used to stand across the passages in our floor and look/tease girls going up/down the stairs. We chose the girls we like and they were now ours no boy in the class could flirt with her afterwards. Every guy had a crush in no time. we used to tease the girls with the name of the guy in our class who liked her. Even tho she never gave a shit, we used to get hyped about that. Once one guy approached his crush and talked to her, he was then tossed and praised by the whole class.
With the fun and games the junior year was almost ending. Almost every guy had talked to their crushes but i had no courage to talk to a single girl. all the boys made a plan behind my back to trap me into a situation with a girl i liked. they called me early to college one day, we all met and started gossiping in a random classroom as our classroom had the morning shift's class running.
almost 20 mins later the girl i liked entered the classroom. i turned black and blue, i had no clue we were in her class. She entered the class kept her bags in the 3rd bench and just sat there all alone. i was just glancing at what she was doing when all the boys dipped from the classroom leaving me all alone and closed the door she got shocked and scared so was i. i went to her and said," i am so so.." . i hadn't completed my apology that she started crying. i nearly shitted my pants and asked her why she was crying. she replied," why should i answer you ? i don't know you, the teachers are gonna she us from the cctv now! " . i couldn't capture any of the stuffs what she said all i captured was how her pale white face turned red when she was talking with tears in her eyes. i didn't utter a word after that and sat in the bench in the opposite row and she stopped crying and kept her head down.
the boys opened the door after 10 mins and i rushed outside. they were all hyped for me," what did you say to her? did you talk to her? did you get her number? " the questions were never ending. i told them what happened and they all felt bad.
from that day i never spoke to her,i never had the courage to do so.
after a couple of months senior year started and we were coming to college everyday grinding as regular. one day i was entering to the college through the front gate and i saw a girl with highlighted hair, carrying a red jansports bag and rushing outside. i had an instant crush on her, the way she walked, her flowy hair and her eyes made me melt.
i talked to my boys about the girl, they were full on detective mode by then and were already after her. within no time i got an information that she was a morning shift student and her name was Rojina. All the boys could find was this much.
i started coming to college early after that day so i could see her. I couldn't find her the whole week afterwards. she was nowhere to be seen so i stopped going to college early and looking for her. Almost 2/3 months later i again saw her leaving college, she was with her friends this time. i noticed her so vividly in the crowd she looked like an angel.
after that i never saw her even in the colleges farewell program. i only knew her first name and couldn't find her on socials. time passed and i joined RRL campus for my bachelors degree. the college was fun but had a scarcity of girls in the day shift. we boys had to play volleyball since there were no girls to glance at in the campus and we got bored. After a month in the campus, a welcome program was organized by the seniors and we were invited. Well, we being the guys we were we went( who leaves free food right? ). when we reached there all the speeches and welcome dances were already over. the crowd was huge, and OMG the crowd was full of feminine energy. we boys looked at eachother like we found water in the middle of a desert. we then knew that morning shift had girls, alot of girls.
couple weeks later, sports meet happened and we were pumped cause we could again check the girls out. we went in every day and played every sports just for the sake of girls (such thirsty boys right!!). the last day of the sports meet and i had found no girl that i liked, every girl i looked at were either with their boyfriend or were too out of my league and the rest were below my requirements. It was dance competition that day and we went now not to check out girls but to have fun and dance with the crowd. Almost 4/5 performances were over and we're having fun dancing and shouting. I got exhausted from all the hooliganism and was sitting besides the fan in the hall cooling down. all of a sudden my eyes rolled upon a girl with a red cultural dress on. she was merely 5 foot, had braided hair, red lipstick, eyeliners in her eye and bangles on her hand.
My mind clicked, "i have seen this girl somewhere! but where?"
i started thinking for the possibilities: -not in the campus in the previous days, not on the roads. i was so confused within myself that i forgot i was staring straight at her like a weirdo. i got back to consciousness when she looked at me and our eye met.
i quickly realized that she was the same girl i used to search for during my college days, i started panicking and went to my boys and told them what happened.
they all didn't care!
