The day we met

Alora's POV 

I was walking home from another awful day at school. While I was walking, it started to feel like I was being followed. I turned around to figure out what was following me and I saw a boy around my age standing behind me. He was wearing a link costume and had black eyes with glowing red pupils dripping what seemed to be blood. I looked at him for a moment and instantly knew who it was. I quickly started to run away from him.

Even though i knew he could catch me i tried to run. All I could think was "Why is it always me that this stuff happens to?" Before long I was out of breath and had to stop. As soon as I started to slow down he tackled me to the ground and was holding a knife to my throat. All I could do was look into his eyes and give up trying to break his grip since I knew he would be stronger than me. I put my head down and sighed. "So this is how it ends for me. Huh?" I said as he brought the knife closer to my throat.

Suddenly he let go of me and seemed confused. I was just as confused as him. "Aren't you going to slit my throat?" I said, "Isn't that kinda what you creepypastas do?" he looked at me shocked. "How do even know who I am?" he said. I looked at him for a moment and sighed, "Your name's Ben Drowned. You died at the age of 12 by getting drowned no one really knows by who though, and ended up stuck in the character of Link from the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. You were obsessed with video games as a child, and now you're a member of Creepypasta along with a bunch of other people. Oh and you hate water. Did I miss anything?" I said.

Ben stared at me for a moment in confusion. "How do you know so much about me?" I blush slightly and turn my head embarrassed, "I... I'm kinda a big fan of the group." Ben looked at me unbelievingly "But we're... we're murderers." I sigh and look him in the eyes, "For so long I've been stuck in depression. But whenever i read about you and the rest of them i always felt like there where other people out there who knew how i felt. I always felt jealous because you actually found people who felt the way you do and had a chance at a life that didn't involve heartbreak and rejection and actually got a chance to get back at the people who caused your life such misery. Now are you going to finish what you were doing or not?" I said starting to cry.

Ben got up and offered me his hand. I got up confused. "Do you really wish you had the type of life we have?" I thought for about two seconds. "Yeah. I do." I said. He looked at me for a moment then said something that caught me 100% off guard "Then how about you join us?" "Really" I said unbelievingly.

Ben's POV

I stared at the girl for a moment before saying "Yeah." Then I told her to follow me back to the mansion. "Oh right," she said half way through the walk, "My name's Alora by the way." I looked at her for a moment thinking about how much she knew about me and the rest of the crew and how even though she was about to walk into a house full of murderers she seemed so calm.

When we got to the door I turned around and looked straight at her, "When we get in there I'd suggest staying close to me unless you feel like getting killed." She nodded and I reached for the door knob. "Ben's back!" Sally yelled as she hugged my leg. Alora stood behind me glancing at everyone in the room. Sally let go of me and glanced at Alora nervously. "Guys this is Alora. Alora this is everyone." She nodded and waved shyly. She was looking at everyone in the room in awe when Sally smiled and said "It's great to meet you Alora. I'm Sally."

Alora nodded "Yeah I know," she said amazed then began listing the rest of us, "The one standing in the corner with the carved smile's Jeff, the one in the blue mask with black liquid oozing from the eyes is Eyeless Jack aka E.J., the one with the white mask is Maskie, the one in the orange hoodie with glowing red eyes is Hoodie, the one with the glasses and mask covering the mouth is Ticci Toby, the one in the black and white outfit is Laughing Jack aka L.J., the man in the corner wearing the suit without a face is Slenderman. That's all I really know. Did I mess anything up?"

Alora's POV

Everyone in the room looked at me like I was insane. I stood there in the awkward silence blushing like crazy when finally Slenderman broke the silence "Ben may you please come to my office" Ben nodded then turned to me "Feel free to look around Alora." and then left. After he left everyone went back to doing whatever they were doing when we arrived. I sighed and decided to take a walk outside.

I stopped at a small clearing not far from the house. I decided to sit down and pulled out a book from my bag and started reading. Not long after I heard someone walking towards me. I looked up to see Toby coming towards me. "A..alora. S..s..slenderman w...w...wants to see y...y...you." I nodded and got up. As Toby took me to Slenderman's office I started noticing how everyone here seemed to know everyone just like everywhere else I've ever lived. Great.

When I entered the room my eyes immediately looked over at Ben who was covered in bruises and had blood trickling from his lip. "B...Ben?" I said and started walking towards him. "He's fine Alora." Slenderman said snapping me back to reality. I looked over at him then back at Ben and finally found the strength to speak. "Y...you said you wanted to see me?" "Yes." Slenderman said softly "Alora you can stay here but you will have to kill. Are you ok with that?"

I knew that if I wasn't he would kill me so I just nodded not trusting myself to speak. "Good. Oh and also we only have one room with any space in it so you and Ben will have to share a room." "What!" We both yelled at the same time. I could tell that I was blushing. Slenderman just nodded and shooed us out of the room.

After Ben took me to our room and got out a spare mattress and sheets I decided to take a better look around the place. I walked out into the living room and ran into Sally. "Hey Alora! Do you wanna have a tea party with me?" I laughed "Sure. Why not?" She squealed and took my hand dragging me to her room. When I walked in I started rubbing my eyes. Everything was a bright PINK!!! She pulled me over to a little table and started pouring some "tea" she handed me the cup and started pouring some for herself.

Not long after we were called down for dinner by Slenderman. "What smells so good?" I said getting really hungry. "Pasta" was all Slenderman said after placing a full plate in front of me. I waited for everyone else to start eating before I did because I was kind of nervous about them trying to kill me. When I started to eat I immediately took another bite. "This is delicious." I said after my fourth bite.

After dinner I went to get a shower. Once I got out of the shower I felt like something was watching me. I shrugged it off and got dressed. When I got back to the room I saw Ben on his bed playing the Nintendo switch. I sat down on my bed and got out my drawing notebook and got to work. At about 10:12 I yawned and went to sleep.
