CHAPTER 12: Reactions

JISOO's POV

"You don't really want me to love you?" he asked. I'm trying to let these words get into me but I am so speechless. Someone knocked the door and Tae stood up quickly to open it. It was Miss Wang informing us that breakfast is ready.
We are eating with Mom, the two of them are enjoying talking about anything under the sun. I did not talk to him after that. When he left, he texted me saying "You don't have to answer it right now."

I scanned my social media accounts and everyone is talking about me. Our school updated a news about me saying "HIU's Student Council President and BLACKPINK member Kim Jisoo fainted last night during their rehearsals due to overfatigued. #GetWellSoonJisoo".

I was so worried earlier because I really don't know what to do. I know this would happen, students buzzing about what happened to me last night. I can say I am not ready yet to tell to everyone that I have a traumatic experience and I cannot perform well on stage and during photoshoots because of it. And even if I am ready, I won't still do it, BLACKPINK haven't debuted on stage yet. So, if everyone will know about my past, who has the courage to support us? to support a person who cannot even finish a rehearsal because of her stage fright? WHO?
That's why I am very thankful to the person who created this news story about the incident.

I refreshed my home page and another news article popped up, I got shocked because it is about me and Tae. It said, "BTS Leader Kim Taehyung updated us about BLACKPINK Jisoo's health condition. He said she is okay now." I clicked the link and read,
"According to sources, Blackpink Jisoo fainted last night at HIU's auditorium. Blackpink is having their rehearsal for the upcoming Students Week when she fainted. Moreover, our sources told us that it was BTS leader Taehyung himself who carried her and brought her home. And, it was confirmed earlier by Tae that her doctor checked her the moment they arrived at Jisoo's home. He also added that he visited her early this morning and he said she is now okay."

So? Tae is the one who's behind all of these fake news? Does it mean he knows everything about my past? Maybe he does and was asked by my Mom last night to do something about it or maybe Jin told him.

I started scrolling again and I was suprised because everyone is asking if we are dating?
We're not. Right?
Not yet.

"Oh my gosh! Enemies turned lover?" Sana said.
"Shut up!" Nayeon replied.
"Well I can say they look good together." Tzuyu said.
"I SAID SHUT UP!" Nayeon shouted
"What's wrong with you? Why are you getting angry right now? You don't like V right? So, why are you acting like that?" Momo asked Nayeon.
"None of your business!" Nayeon replied and walked out.

Tae and Jisoo entered the auditorium together. Everyone inside were shocked seeing them together.
"So, you're confirming your relationship now?" Jhope asked.
"No!" Jisoo said while Tae said "Not yet."
"No or Not Yet?" Jhope asked again. Jisoo and Tae looked at each other.

"What's the meaning of this? The article said that you (pointing at Jisoo) fainted yesterday, well in fact you haven't, right? Then, Jungkook told us to keep our mouth shut about what happened or else he's going to kill us and now we are seeing you together? Jisoo? What's this? You're hiding something on me, on us?" Jennie asked.
"Jen ... I'm sorry."  Jisoo said
"Sorry? so you're really hiding something from us?" Jennie asked.
"Jenn -- I'm going to tell you about it when ---" Jisoo said.
"When? When what? --- So, If that incident never happened yesterday, you'll continue to keep it from us?! We're friends! We're even in one group now! You know what's hurting me right now? Huh? Jungkook and Tae know it! But, your friends, who are always there for you, have no idea about it at all.!" Jennie said and walked out.
"Jen?" Jisoo called her and followed her.

"Jen, wait!" Jisoo shouted.
"Jennie Kim! Please! Please listen to me" Jisoo cried.
"Fine!" Jennie said. Lisa and Rose followed them, and they are at the back of Jisoo.
"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry."
"That's all? I never thought you are that close with Jungkook and with my brother." Jennie said and stated walking away.
"I have a stage fright!" Jisoo shouted. Jennie turned her back and said "What?"
"I had an accident 8 years ago, we are shooting for a commercial when a car bumped the set, and I got hit  by the large spotlights. And ---- and --- I can't still forget the exact things that happened that day. It stayed in my mind for 8 years and I repeatedly seeing it everytime the camera flashes or everytime the spotlight blinks ---- I never tell anyone about it and I don't know why Jungkook and Tae knew it."  Jisoo cried.

Lisa ran to Jisoo and back hugged her. "It's okay!" Lisa said.
Rose went to Jennie who looks like shocked. "We don't have to go this far? right?" Rose said.

"I'm sorry girls! I am really sorry!" Jisoo said.
Jennie's tears started to fall from her eyes and went to Jisoo to hug her.
"I don't know it was that heavy. I'm sorry for acting like that earlier. I'm sorry! " Jennie said.

The girls went back to the auditorium. Jisoo explained why they have to hide everything that happened yesterday. She mentioned to the rest that she had an accident 8 years ago, but, unlike what she said to the girls (BLACKPINK), she didn't detailed everything that happened.

"Guys? I hope you understand, I am just asking a big favor from all of you. Student Week is coming and Music Festival is also approaching. Blackpink haven't debuted on stage yet. That incident yesterday, it doesn't have to do with the midterm exams and other school activities. It was all about the trauma that I've been carrying for 8 years due to an accident. Hope you'll understand why we should keep it in ourselves." Jisoo said to everyone in the auditorium who witnessed the incident yesterday.
"We are here for you Jisoo!" Jimin said and everyone agreed.
"Thank you so much guys!" Jisoo said.

"Did I hear it right?" someone in the dark area said.
