Let's just say this takes place after episode 46, Ako's S4 competition. You know when she's crying in her room? This is kinda an AU cause this probably would never happen, but we've got to use our imaginations right?

Ako's POV

I've been crying for about 15 minutes. Yes, I know crying won't do me anything, but what else could I do? Eat? I stood up and walked over to my desk, and picked up my phone. I quickly checked the time, 9:34 p.m. then I scrolled threw my notifications. There was a reminder that tomorrow was Beauty Class's turn, some notifications for Aitube, and a text from my mom. I quickly replied to my mom,

Mom: Good job darling!

Ako: Thanks mom

Mom: Mama and Papa are proud! Sleep well tonight!

Ako: I will! Night <3

Mom: Night dear! <3

I smiled at my phone, my mom sure knew how to cheer me up. Though I still really wished I won. Just as I was about to close my phone, I got another text.

Kanata: Want to meet up?

Ako: Now?

Kanata: Yup

Ako: No

Kanata: I could see right through your act

Ako: What act

Kanata: How you were "ok"

Ako: I am fine

Kanata: As a top actor you really need to work on that. I told you, I saw right through.

Ako: You know nothing

Kanata: ok! Meet me at the bridge in 5!

Ako: What??

No response

Ako: Fine

So I decided why not go out for some fresh air, since Kanata invited me. I ran to the light switch on flicked it on. Looking at my appearance, I could see that my hair was all messed up, my eyes were all red, and my uniform was all wrinkled. Quickly, I cleaned myself up, then walked out.

Before I could make it out, I was stopped by Tsubasa-Senpai.

"Satome." She smiled, "Good job today."

I could feel the tears coming back, "Back at you senpai."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm just meeting someone." I needed to get going, before I started crying.

"Ok... Don't stay out too late."

"Thank you Senpai." I bowed and quickly.

Luckily, I got to the bridge without crying. I could see someone standing there, looking at the stars. It must be Kanata. Who else could it be?

"I'm here." I said.

He looked over at me and smiled. "Why don't we go sit at the bench." We walked over and sat down.

"What do you want." I asked him.

"I want to be here for you."

"You jerk! I was fine by myself... in my room, crying, and I'm..."

"My kitty was crying?" He put his hand on my face to get a better look.

"Yes! No. Maybe?" My breath hitched.

"Tell me what's wrong. I'm not here to judge you. You can let your guard down." Then he took his hand away and leaned back. I could still feel his hand on my face.

I looked at him and started "I know this sounds stupid, but I just really wanted to win. Did you see how much she beat me by!?!" My eyes started to water.

"Yes, the articles online were talking about how she beat everyone by a landslide."

"Exactly! Even though I made it into S4, I'll probably never be as good as the other members, before and now!"

"How would you know? The S4 crowning hasn't even happened."

"True, but I just, why..." I started to cry again. This time Kanata put his arm over my shoulders and I pressed my face against his chest and cried.

"Shhhh," he said while stroking my hair, "it'll be alright. You have 2 more years to prove that you are top."

I lifted my face up "Ya ya, but I'll be the senpai." Then put my face back. He smelled so good.

"Think of it as a good bye present."

I hummed in response.

"All S4 members are aiming for the top, to show their under-class men what they can do. To show them the path."

"Is thwat wat you do?" My voice was muffled in his chest.

"I guess so, but next year, I'll be in high school, it'll be the opposite."

"Mhmmm"

He let go and lifted my face up to his face. He wiped a tear away. I could feel my cheeks rising with heat. Luckily it was dark.

"Look, just don't beat yourself up over this little competition. You have 2 more years left. And you might as well win both," he smiled, "It's getting a little late isn't it? Time to head back."

I missed his scent already. He smelled so comforting. "I guess so. Tsubasa-Senpai did say not to stay out too late."

"Well then, you better get going. Want me to walk you back?"

"Oh no, I'll be fine. Thank you for calling me out here. It really helped."

"Anytime, I'll always lend a shoulder for you. In this case my chest." He smirked.

I blushed furiously and said, "Baka! Well goodnight. I'll see you soon."

"Goodnight Kitty." We waved, then I left.

When I got back to the dorms, Tsubasa-Senpai was standing there.

"There you are, it was getting late. I was gonna come find you." She smiled, "better go to sleep. Tomorrow will be a busy day. Night."

"Night Senpai."

Kanata was right. I shouldn't beat myself over this. Maybe this was really important to me, and yes I lost, but I learned a valuable experience and lesson from it. And maybe someday, I'll go against Senapi again and win.

I'm so sorry for not updating for a long time. I just came back from France. I made a quick new story, 30 day aikatsu challenge. This is again, another kanako chapter. I have a subyume chapter in mind and another kanako. This book is supposedly going to end soon, and it will. Sry. Though I can always make a book 2, or just keep adding on to this book. Anyway leave a vote, comment, whatever. Those always make my day. Sry for any errors. Thank you!
