Your P.O.V

"It's normal to feel different. I feel that all the time, so it's completely normal." Blake tells me before eating his ice cream. 

Blake and I are at the mall together. Reece is at his grandfather's house so, he obviously can't hang out with us. I don't mind hanging out with Blake without Reece, anyway. 

"I know that, but it feels weird. I feel so out of place. I have this gut feeling that I don't really belong here. It's not a great feeling to be out of place, B." I explain.

"Well, there's nothing I could do to really help you, because it's all in your gut feeling. And usually when women have weird gut feelings, they tend to be correct. So, I won't even bother you, because there's a 50% chance that you might be right." he says.

"What about the other 50%?" I ask, looking at him.

"Then, I'll be here to say 'I told you so'." he laughs, causing me to laugh too.

Blake is such an easy person to get along with. No wonder he and Reece are really close friends. They both do the same things and they like the same things as well and that's a bonus. I don't really mind hanging out with both of them, because I'm used to hanging out with my 2 older brothers; they're the first boys in my life after all. Besides dad, of course.

"By the way, my sister's birthday is coming up. She said I could bring you and Reece. Don't worry about anything, because everything's been paid for and I'll be picking you up so we can all go together." he says, finishing his ice cream.

"Oh, that's so sweet of her! I'll tell my parents when they get home from work. Where are we going?" I ask.

Knowing them, it's probably somewhere a bit pricey or something else. His family can surprise you.

"It's just a sleepover thing at The Mere. It's just gonna be you, me, Reece, Abbie and her two best friends. All six of us will have dinner together at some point, maybe on our first night there." he shrugs.

"How many days are we staying there?" I ask.

"About a week. Pack your things." He chuckles.

"I'll pack my things when my parents allow me to go." I chuckle and we head over to a few shops before going home.
