Everything Has Changed (Lukanette)

Chapter 3

Marinette enjoyed doing the project, despite the anger towards Lila for being partnered up with Adrien. Marinette didn't let it get to her, for she knew better than to become a target for an Akuma.

Luka knew that Marinette was upset about not being able to work with Adrien, so he kept her busy by talking about the project and just life in general. Before he knew it he and Marinette had finished the project and were laughing about the time when Luka first dyed his hair neon Green on a dare.

Meanwhile, Lila kept flirting with Adrien, thinking that she was making Marinette mad by doing so. She turned around when she heard laughter from Marinette's direction.

"What's going on? What's so funny?" Lila asked growing impatient by the second.

"I-It's Nothing," Marinette could not stop laughing.

Lila growled at how happy Marinette looked. Lila had made it her mission to make Marinette lose all of her friends and make Adrien her's. So far the plan wasn't going that great.

And, the first step would be to make the new boy with the blue-tipped black hair hate Marinette. Then and only then would Lila succeed in making Marinette lose her friends.

"Alright, class," Mrs. Mendeleiv started, drawing everyone's attention. "I hope you all managed to finish your project, if you didn't finish it, then you'll just have to finish it at home."

A collective round of groans filled the room.

"Did you hear that Adrien?" Lila turned to look at the Blonde model. "We'll have to go to your place to finish it"

"Uh, sure.." the blonde didn't want to be around Lila for much longer. "I just hope you don't mind that Marinette will be tagging along,"

"What does Marinette need at your house?" Lila Rossi grew furious at this revelation.

"She's got a meeting scheduled with my father," the model replied.

"No way!" Lila turned to look at Marinette. "Is Gabriel Agreste your sugar daddy?"

Everyone looked shocked at this and turned to look at Marinette. They talked amongst themselves about their thoughts.

"Wha- No Lila," Marinette defended herself. "he needed my help with something he's working on."

"Uh-huh, sure," Lila chuckled.

Marinette shook her head at Lila in disbelief, before turning her attention towards Adrien.

"I'm gonna talk to Alya later," Marinette glanced at Lila who glared at her, "About what happened with Ladybug and Chat Noir, and if she saw what happened."

"That sounds like a good Idea Marinette, I'll join you," Adrien nodded at her.

Lila growled at Marinette for taking Adrien's attention away from her

That's how the class came to an end for the day. Everyone started going their separate ways.

"Hey Alya," Marinette ran after the brunette, "Wait up!"

"Hey girl, was what Lila said true?" she inquired

"No Alya, and you know what I'm helping Adrien's dad with." Marinette walked alongside Alya.

Alya nodded.

"Hey, girls wait up" Adrien ran up to them, slightly out of breath.

"Sup Adrien," Alya stared at Marinette, still confused as to why Marinette wasn't freaking out like she used to.

"Have you asked her yet?" Marinette shook her head at this, turning to face her brunette best friend.

"Hey, Alya, do you remember how Ladybug and Chat Noir were fighting that akumatized victim yesterday?" Marinette turned to her best friend.
