Ticking Time

What will we do when time runs out? What will we do when it all comes to an end? The end comes more and more near with each passing day, yet, we do not see it, we do not fear what the end will be. What we do will affect the time we have left, sooner rather than later, the last grain of sand will fall to the bottom of the time glass that we cannot flip over to restart.

We do nothing to slow down time, to keep the precious years we have left. Lately, we have been speeding it up, making time go by faster and faster until we come down to the last second of what we have left. Then it is gone and we can never reverse what we have done.
