Sprinting down the dirt path leading through the ice cold gathering of trees my heart sank, i could feel eyes on me the whole way ''just run' I whisper to myself ''just run'', haulting to a stop outside an old wooden mansion i finaly decided to look at my surroundings, behind me i could see tens to thousands of ancient charcoal trees twisted into eachother my heart sank as i realised that i did not know the way back to town also the fact that it had gotten dark, i turned around to look at the mansion i sighed and lifted my foot ready to place it on the rotten green step placing it down i could hear a sharp creek followed on by another on the second step. I looked around for a doorbell but there didnt seem to be one so i knocked on the door at first i heard what seemed to be an echo of my knock ringing though the house giving me an idea of exsactly how big this building must be and then nothing ... silence misted around me taking a deep breathe i twisted the extreamly splinterd door handle and stepped in the house, it was dark and i could hardly see anything but a small glint of light from the moon. Walking further in the mansion, the front door slowly creeped shut behind me ... i was locked in.
