Your P.O.V

"Hey, my parents allowed me to go." I tell Blake on the phone.

"That's great! Reece is coming too. The gang is complete! Hey, don't forget to bring Scrabble. I love that shit." Blake says. We used to play scrabble all the time, but we all got busy and never had the time.

"Yeah, for sure! They're in the storage room. I'll put it in my suitcase now." I tell him as I leave my room to go to the storage room near the kitchen.

"Okay. See ya!" Blake says and hangs up the phone. I put my phone in my back pocket and open the door to the storage room and enter it.

We don't have that much stuff in there. The only things in the storage room are our old stuff that gave us so many memories. I look around and see a box full of our old toys. Just by seeing that old box, I realize that we all grew up quickly; too quick for our parents' liking, but they knew that they couldn't do anything about it. Growing up is inevitable, after all.

I smile to myself as I think about all the fun stuff that we used to do when my brothers and I were kids. I miss every single thing about it. Now they're all just memories waiting to be remembered, hoping we never forget.

I walk closer to the toy box, the sun being my only source of light, as it's situated by the window. The rays of the sun shining down upon the old toy box that made my brothers and I happy. As I walk closer, I slip and if it wasn't for the old desk next to me, I would've fell face first. I stand up straight and look down to see what caused me to slip.

An old folder.

Curiously, I pick it up not caring about the dust that's now resting on my hands. I honestly don't know what to expect, but my gut feeling is telling me to open it. I know I shouldn't, because this must be something important and it probably doesn't concern me. My conscience is telling me to just get the goddamn Scrabble and leave. But I can't bring myself to. It's like my feet are stuck on the ground or something. I'm so invested in the folder. Regardless of what my conscience is telling me, I open the folder.

Turns out the file inside folder, concerns me. It concerns me, because it has my name on it. My vision starts to get blurry and I start to feel dizzy. I take a deep breath and put the folder on top of the desk next to me. I quickly walk to the toy box and grab the Scrabble box and leave the storage room.

"This is going to be fun!" Blake exclaims happily. I just smile at him and stare into space. I've been so out of it ever since I found the folder. Words can't express how I'm feeling right now. I'll just try my best to hide what I'm feeling and distract myself by having fun with my two best friends, Reece and Blake.

We arrive at The Mere and everything looks so beautiful! Reece and I are in awe of the place, because we haven't been here prior to this day. Blake told us in the car that Abbie wanted to celebrate here, because it's quiet and she wants it simple and calm.

"Okay so, Blake and Reece will be sharing a room and Y/N will be sharing with me." Abbie tells us as she hands Blake the key to his and Reece's room.

"Are you sure your best friends would be okay with you sharing with me?" I ask shyly. I don't want them to think that I'll be taking her away from them.

"Yeah. It would be awkward if you shared with one of them and it wouldn't be fair if I shared with one of them and it would be awkward if you shared with the boys. You know how boys' hormones are." Abbie says as she chuckles a bit. I turned a bit red when she mentioned about the boys' hormones.

"Hey!" Blake says, but turns red in embarrassment.

"Anyway, let's get settled in our rooms and then you guys could go around." Abbie says. "Let's go, Y/N!" she adds. I follow her to our room and it looks really cute. According to Abbie, it's the 'Premier Suite'; I think it's the biggest room they have.

Once we're done fixing our stuff, Abbie and I, go our separate ways to our best friends. All of us will have pizza at Abbie and I's room tonight,  because we have a dining area.

"So, who wants to swim? There's an indoor pool." Blake asks. Reece and I look at each other and then at Blake.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier?!" Reece shrieks.

"Let's go!" I smile.

"Okay. We'll pick you up at your room." Blake says before leaving with Reece.

On the way to my shared room with Abbie, I remembered that she has the key. I quickly text her about it and she replies that she's in the room with her best friends. Turns out they're going to enjoy the spa.

I knock on the door and one of Abbie's friends opens the door with a smile. She lets me in and I enter to change in my swimsuit quickly.

"Y/N, we're heading out now! I'll leave the key on the dining table. See ya!" Abbie shouts from the door, because I'm in the bathroom changing.

"Okay, see ya!"

"Your room is bigger than ours." Reece pouts as he looks around. The just got in and they want to explore the room.

"That's because her roommate is my sister and it's my sister's birthday. Besides, the Queen Suite isn't that bad." Blake says. "Let's go!"

We arrive at the indoor pool and there are only a few people in it. We hop in the pool and stay quiet for a few seconds. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comfortable silence.

We swim for a bit and decide that it's time to go back. We get out of the pool area and on our way out, I bump into someone causing him to fall. Unfortunately for him when he tries to stand up, he slips and falls again causing us to snicker; I mean, we can't fully laugh at the person whilst they're still there.

He gets up and says, "It's not funny." He looks at me as he leans on the wall. "Great. Now, my clothes are ruined and I can't walk properly because of you. How can I play golf now?!"

I take one good look at him and to my surprise, he looks really good. Like, as in, really really good. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, shorter than Reece and Blake but he's not THAT short. He's just right.

Good looking but I'm not a fan of his attitude right now.

"What do you mean 'your clothes are ruined'?! Your clothes are just damp, because you bumped into me and I'm fresh out of the pool. Also, you can't walk properly? At least you still have both of your legs. Oh, and you play golf with your hands, hold the golf club and swing." I sass.

"I normally like the girls I meet, but you're different. You're being really mean right now." He says, fully facing me and looking at me angrily.

"Well I normally like guys I meet, but you're an exception, because you're such an ass." I tell him, proud of myself for doing so. Reece and Blake just stay and watch the angry exchange.

"You're just jealous, because I'm richer than you." blondie says with a smug grin on his face and crossing his arms.

"No! Why would you think that? I'm happy and contented with what I have thank you very much." I angrily tell him. How dare he!

"Whatever you say, princess. It was... 'lovely' to meet you." he says to me and looks at Reece and Blake, "It was nice seeing you and hello again, Richardson." he adds before leaving.

I turn to face Blake in shock. "You know that arrogant piece of shit?!" I shriek. He shrugs, "I forgot. I thought he was familiar, but we all know I'm not good with names unless I've met someone a couple times."

"But you got mine and Y/N's name correctly." Reece points out as we all start walking to the elevator.

"Yeah, I guess I have favoritism." Blake laughs causing us to laugh too.
