Think: What kind of animals (fauna) might you encounter in your world? Are they fantastical? Terrifying? Do you have any at all?
What kinds of plants (flora) do you have? Are they beautiful? Dangerous? Simply potted plants?
Exercise: In a chapter of your book, describe the major flora and fauna aspects of your world/setting.
For example, let's say that your setting is a courtroom. Are there police dogs? Are there support animals? Is there a potted plant (even fake ones) or two?
