Whimsically shaped clouds attract large crowds
of people looking to the sky
Beyond our belief the first looks like a leaf
as it slowly drifts on by
I do a double take the second looks like a rake
and brushes the leaf from the air
Another one comes shaped like hardy mums
with beauty beyond compare
Feels like a utopia next one's a cornucopia
overflowing with every kind of treat
Then floats by a huge apple pie
looks good enough to eat
The crowd starts to squeal next one's a home cooked meal
"Thanksgiving" in cloud style
There's a turkey overhead with stuffing and bread
and things only had once in a while
Next floating we see not one pumpkin but three
all wearing a backlit face
Then children all dressed in their halloween best
goody bags at every neighborly place
The clouds seem to dry no more pictures in the sky
we wonder if we've seen them all
Then last but not least moving in from the east
is a giant cloud spelling out......
