Za'liah's POV:
I'm a nobody. I ran away because my mom used to abuse me,my dad was the only one to calm her temper,but he's gone he died in the army when i was 12. My mom took her anger out on me i was terrified...the way she looked at me not knowing when she's going to hit me. But life is hard when you're a run away child...
Random Guy:(looks at Za'liah's scrawny body)here you can have they rest of my burger and fries(gives Za'liah his food)
Za'liah:(says in a scratchy voice)thanks so much(starts grubbing on the burger)
Random Guy: no problem(walks away)
Za'liah:(finish the food and throws it away in the dumpster next to her)I'm so tired(lays down on the filthy alley ground and dozes off)
