Jason woke up abruptly in a cold sweat. A single tear ran from his eye but he didn't quite know the cause. It wasn't sadness. Could it have been shock? Was it even emotional? He didn't know. The moon loomed over the city and sent silver beams into his bedroom through his bedroom window. He was hot. He didn't know what had just happened and checked his bedside clock. It read 4:13 a.m. He had completely forgotten that his wife was right next to him. He left his room and walled down the dark hallway towards his son's bedroom. He opened the door and found nothing to be wrong. He closed the door and walked further down the hallway to his daughter's bedroom. Again, nothing out of the ordinary. He closed the door and began to walk back up the walkway and glanced at the several pictures he had of him and his family framed and hanging on the wall. He went back into his bedroom and got back into bed.
After an hour of trying and failing to get back to sleep he decided to get changed and go outside. As he grabbed his door key and left his house he felt a pulsing pain in the back of his head, but ignored it and kept walking. A light mist began to descend and he quickly noticed that the city was strangely deserted as there would normally be at least a few people walking around at this time. As well as being deserted it was deathly silent. Jason could only hear the slight sound of his footsteps and the splashing of his feet in the puddles on the pavement.
He passed an alleyway and stopped dead when he began to hear a very slight whisper. "Come with me". It repeated again and again getting louder each time. He began to hear a humming sound and his head started to throb. He wanted to walk away but couldn't and the voice was almost calling to him and he reluctantly tiptoed towards it. In the alleyway he saw a hooded figure standing with its head bowed and a devious smile. It looked up and took down the hood to reveal long black hair and two glowing, piercing red eyes. It had pale skin and was wearing a long black cloak. Jason's feet were firmly planted and would not move even though he wanted to run away.
The figure, who Jason had guessed was a woman, reached into her cloak and pulled out a necklace that was comprised of a silver chain attached to a charm that had two silver snakes coiled around a green jewel. She approached him whilst keeping direct eye contact and a blood curdling stare that could terrify the most fearless of souls. She put the necklace around his neck and as soon as she let go of it she disintegrated into a black smoke. The smoke rushed into the jewel in the necklace around Jason's neck then ...
Silence.
The snakes' eyes began to glow the same piercing red as the woman's had been. Then the gem began to glow and it suddenly cracked and the same black smoke began to leak out. It swirled around him and it enveloped him. It continued the do this for around thirty seconds until the smoke cleared and retreated back into the jewel. He looked into a puddle on the ground and saw from his reflection that his skin was now as white as snow, his hair had turned from blonde to pitch black and his eyes were the same glowing red that he had previously seen in the snakes and woman. He tried to take the necklace off but as soon as he did he fell to his knees and began to cough. He felt weak and just about had enough energy to put the necklace back on. He immediately did so, but then seconds later everything went black.
He opened his eyes to see that he was in a completely different place than before the sky was blue and he was in an open field. A woman began to approach him. She was tall, and had long blonde hair that faded into purple at the tips, comlemented by her light blue eyes. She wore long, elegant, flowing clothing that swept along the ground as she walked. However, She wore no shoes. "Who are you?" she asked curiously. "I am Hanzo Sombra."
