Betrayal: Part 3

Sam: Cal, take us up. We need to be moving at all times

Michael: I see the elite is still with you. I take it we're now enemies of the world?

Sam: The minute any of you stepped into this mission with Cal, Ryan and I, you were doomed to be killed along with us.

Sophia: This isn't fair.. Why is he doing this!

Komtareus: Your people have a terrible secret. Your Carver and most likely the people above him are pure evil. Years ago your planet led an attack on us, the Covenant.

Michael: Yeah, you were the bad guys! You attacked us.

Komtareus: I suppose it would look that way to a bystander.

Ariane: What does he mean, Sam?

Sam: It's a very little known fact, but the humans did not start this war.

Sophia: That's.. No they attacked us. I remember!

Ryan: We opened fire on them.. Not us personally.. But Carver, in the beginning.

Michael: What? Why would he do that?

Komtareus: He is a madman.. He ordered his men to shoot us on site. My people. We had no choice but to join the Covenant. We didn't have a choice.

Sam: But in the end it didn't matter. Before the last days of the war, us three were sent home. The war was over. We'd won.

Komtareus: That's where I come in. After everyone was sent home. Most of my friends killed by your people. At this point they had completely wiped out the Covenant as well. I managed to escape with my life in my warship which was damaged in the escape. Then.. things got worse.

Ryan: How could it get worse..

Komtareus: They initiated a bomb on my planet. A bomb that wipes out all life, then it destroys the planet entirely. Our women. Our children. All dead in the blink of an eye.

Calvin: Shit..

Ariane: How many people died.. For nothing..

Komtareus: He was there to collect our weaponry. Increase humanities technological advance.

Sam: So that's why he wants you dead.. Because you know about what he did..

Komtareus: The attack he commenced.. Even in war, there must be limits.. That man needs to be stopped. If your world is run under his supervision.. Then I take pity on all of you.

Ariane: This is crazy. We can't take on the entire UNSC. This is nuts!

Sam: Most of the soldiers in the UNSC probably don't even know.

Calvin: Sam, we got an incoming transmission. From Carver, sir.

Sam: Patch him through..

Calvin enables the transmission directly to Carver in a video feed for everyone aboard to see.

Carver: Hey, you shit-birds! You've been causing me a lot of fuckin' grief!!

Sam: You.. I trusted you for so many years.. I trained under you fo-

Carver: Son, you were a means to an end. You had sure, ungodly potential! But you're nothing but a pansy, kid.

Sam: You have killed a lot of people Carver, this won't go unpunished..

Carver: Matter-a-fact! I believe we have a guest speaker for this little get together!

Carver has two soldiers bring out Ariane's brother, Andy Blackwell.

Ariane: Andy, no!!

Carver: See your brother here was snooping around in our files and he found something he shouldn't have.

Andy: Ariane.. You need to run.. and then run again.. This bastard..

Ariane: W-we know, Andy..

Andy: Good.. That's good.

Before Andy can say another word, he stabs a large knife through Andy's chest, leaving a horrifying on Ariane's face. Andy began to cough of spurts of blood as he winced in pain.

Carver: This little bastards a fighter, ain't he!

Andy: Ari.. You finish this fight, okay? Open this when the time comes. Finish it for me.. Then kill this mother fucker.

Andy smiled as his sister, as he then lifted his gauntlet a sent a direct transmission to her suit. Moments later, a message was downloaded into her suit.

Carver: You shit, what did you do!

Andy: End this bastard!

Carver grabs Andy by the neck and shoots him in the head. He then wipes off the blood from the camera.

Ariane: No.. You son of a bitch!!

Carver: I'll be seeing you soon, Sammy.

Carver switches off the transmission and there is a long, cold silence in the helicopter.

Sam: Ari-

Ariane: Don't.. Just don't. We find this bastard and we kill him. We kill him.

Sam: You got it.. He's as good as dead.

Michael: At this point, I don't think any of us will disagree with that statement.

Calvin: Let's go kill us a warlord!
