Chapter Thirteen-My 'Crush'?

Sky's (Thalia's) POV

"Does this cloak make my butt look big?"

"Honestly, Beauty! Can't you just choose a cloak?" I asked. "We have to leave five minutes and I've been waiting for you forever."

"Perfection can't be rushed."

"Yeah? Well, last time I checked, your name wasn't perfection."

I saw Silena scowl at an cloak identical to the one she was wearing.

"Are you even listening to me?"

"Hmm? Yeah..." She drifted off.

"Silena!" I snapped.

She sighed and turned to look at me. "Look, just go outside. Tell them I'll be ready in three minutes, tops. Just stop whining."

"Just hurry up, okay?"

She smiled crookedly at me. "Yes, mom."

I frowned at her, and walked out, closing the door shut behind me, leaving Silena in the room alone.

"Going somewhere?"

I jumped. "Oh my Chaos, Nico! Don't scare me like that!"

He chuckled at me.

"What's so funny?" I asked, trying to look intimidating.

"Oh, um.... nothing." He straightened up and coughed awkwardly.

"Thought so."

"Where's Perce?" he asked.

''I think he's in the training room or something."

The awkward silence returned, but it was luckily broken by Silena, who walked out the door in a flowing white cloak.

"Well, I gotta go..." Nico said.

"See ya, Neeks," Silena said. Nico blushed and walked down the hall. Halfway down, he yelled behind his shoulder, "Don't call me Neeks!"

Silena stifled her giggles, and I did too. Then she switched her gaze to me.

She gasped. "Oh-my-Chaos." I frantically looked around, trying to figure out what she was talking about.

"W-what?"

She squealed in return. "You totally like him!"

"Not so loud!" I shout-whispered. "And no, I don't like him. Ew." I tried to hide the blush creeping onto my cheeks, but it was no worth it.

"Oh my God! Yes, you do! See, you're even blushing!"

"No, I'm not!" I shouted indignantly. "You're wrong."

"Mm-hm, keep telling yourself that. I'm the daughter of the goddess of love." she scoffed. "I know what I'm talking about."

I quickly shuffled down the hall, but Silena was determined to talk about my 'crush'.

"Nico and Thalia sittin' in a tree." Oh, no. Please not this. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First come loves, then comes marriage, then comes Thalia with a b-"

I put my palm above her mouth, stopping what else she was about to say. "Don't you dare say anything else," I hissed.

Silena silently nodded and a muffled,"Fou rarihn je," came out. (You're scaring me)

"I know." I took my hand off her mouth and wiped it on my cloak. "You have a lot of spit."

"It helps when kissing Charles."

Wait, what?

Sorry! I know a lot of you wanted Perlia, but I couldn't seem to have any ideas to do that. My first draft made no sense, so I did this one, and I think I like this one better.

Isn't Silena just so funny in this chapter? She has a childish vibe going on.

Anyways, good news, Blood of Olympus is coming out! I friggin can't wait no more! I read the free sample on Itunes, so I guess I had some relief from it all, but I'm still so impatient! Feel free to PM if you want when I get my pre-order so we can all fangirl about this.
