2 weeks later/

I finished my song that I was working on, and was soon going to be talking to my manager about it. The song title was "god is a woman" and it was such a powerful song. My meeting with him was in 30 mins and I was waiting in the lobby for them to come bring me to the room. I texted cal and asked him for advice

Y/n: cal

Calpal🤠😎: what's up?

Y/n: I'm scared for the meeting with scooter

Calpal🤠😎: for what, you'll do good, and I'm sure he will love it

Y/n: you sure ?

Calpal🤠😎: y/n I'm for sure💕 now go kill it

Y/n: thx ✨ gtg luv ya

Just then scooter walked in and greeted me to his assistant and told me to follow him to the room. My palms were sweating and my stomach was doing flips. I'm sure I was turning pale. I'm usually never nervous for these kind of meetings but this would be another song of mine out of the few, and this one is very controversial as well. As we reached the room I clasped onto my necklace I was wearing. It was the one gifted from calum as a token of friendship and luck. Worn only when I felt like I needed the luck, this was a moment for it. Ashton, Luke, and Michael, didn't know about this one, but cal knew because he helped on only a few lines. I was wanting to surprise the boys if this were to be released to the world. I sat back in my chair and looked down at my legs and took a couple deep breaths before my manager spoke up "ok so you wanted to present a new song y/n?" "Yes sir" I speak shakey, immediately mentally hitting my self for being so dumb. "For who may I ask?" He says with a smile. I think he knows what I'm on about. "For me of course scooter" I say smiling, happy that I'm gaining my confidence back. "You sure? Thought you said this was only a side hobby of yours?" Scooter says waking to another side of the room. "Yes of course, I know what I said and I feel like this needs to be said. I don't need you to clarify what I said, I think I'm ready for a steady carrier in music" crossing my Arms on my chest and looking him dead in the eye with my determined look. I hope I don't look dumb. Scooter laughs and speaks up "see that's what I like about you, you know your worth and your not afraid to speak up when needed" pointing his index finger towards me

"Well I'm glad you think so, but I really wanna talk about this new single."
"Ok well then present your self" he says
I then walk over to his aux cord with the speakers hooked up to it. I plug my phone into it and go to my files. Welp here goes it. "Before you kill me, the song is called god is a woman, but it's not about gods, it's female empowerment" I say trying around to look at my now confused manager who looks like he's about to object. So my only option was to play the song before he interjects my plan. When the first chords started my heart dropped to my ass. "You, you love it how I move you"

And the song continues
When it gets to the climax and I hit my falsetto scooter speaks up. "Holy shit" a now standing scooter says. And then I start humming along to the song and move along with the beat. Truly a masterpiece. Lyrical genius at its finest, created with the help of my soon to be boyfriend calum hood. Or at least I wish, but only in my dreams. We're just friends, nothing more and it won't ever change. "YOULL BELIEVE GOD- OH YAA"
My thoughts leave my mind. Scooter then starts clapping and walks towards me. The songs comes to an end and a huge smile comes to my face. "Ok wow, y/n I really thought you weren't going to wow me with this one because the title but damn I was wrong." He says enthusiastically "Well thank you, I'm glad you like it, and you?" I say turning to his assistant who's name I forgot. "It's amazing, as I woman, it truly made me feel bad ass" she says standing to come give me a high five. "Yeah it's not at all, about god being an actual woman it's a metaphor for her power" I say turning to scooter after giving her a high five. "Yeah, it's a good one" he says

After 40 minutes of us breaking down the song he finally says "well I think we need to start talking to press and posting to get your fans curious." He says focusing on me "wait are you serious? When!" I say smiling "well the whole process will be about a month and then we will tell them a date. But for now I'm gonna get you some interviews" he says standing up and reaching to his assistance. "Thank you so much, I can't wait" I say standing up and giving him a big whole hug. Maybe I was wrong about a few things.

"Dude guess what!" I say holding the phone up to my ear "what did it go well?" "Yes it went very well, and I'm so excited for what's to come." I say speaking to calum smiling "that's really good what happened?" He ask, I can hear the smile on his face. "Oh idk you'll have to figure out on your own" I say now giggling "alright missy, do I have to beg for the answer" he responds while laughing "oh alright, I'm gonna have a party to celebrate with my friends and tell everyone the news. So shush. It's getting relaxed in a bout a month maybe" I say now smiling as big as I can. "WHAT Y/N THATS SO SOON, THATS AMAZING HOLY. Ok I won't tell any one but duke I promise" he says "haha, ok bub talk to you later lover you" I say getting ready to hang up the phone. "Love you too y/n, bye"

Well that's it for this chapter hopefully it's longer and better than the others

I'm reading the story deluded and I'm only in about 4 chapters and I'm honestly mad at Luke 🤠
