Sapphires P.O.V

Tuesday Morning

I felt something on my bed... It was jumping on me... It must be Gordon again...

"Gordon! Get off!!" My little brother does this to me every time. Even when I'm late for something... Wait!

I got up quick, asking Gordon, "What are we doing today?" He looked at me like 'really'.

"Remember you and your friends are going to a picnic," he said. I finally remember! I looked at the clock next to me and it was 8:30.

"Shoot! Get out!" I cried. He walked out of my room and I closed it. I went to have a shower, then slipped into my green dress with a long, sea green cardigan. I finally went into the kitchen, grabbed an apple and walked out of the house. There I met four of my friends: an Echidna, a Cat, a Hawk and a Fox.

Tails P.O.V

"And... Done!" I just finished fixing the Tornado. That took a while. I looked to the side and saw Sonic coming out of the house.

"Hey Tails!" He screamed across the distance.

"Hey Sonic!" He walks up to me petting the plane.

"Is it done?"

"Yep! Just finished it!" I was putting my tools away till I heard some kind of thunder? Wait a second... I looked to the sky. The sky is blue... No clouds... I turn to Sonic saw him holding his stomach. I laughed

"Did you eat anything Sonic?"

"Uh... Yes." I heard his stomach rumble again and he gripped his stomach. I shook my head and saw an apple on the table and handed it to him.

"Here."

"Thanks." He bit into it and walked away. Sonic... He's always the funny one! But I don't always go for his jokes. I closed my tool box and heard my Communicator beep. Huh? I looked at it and some red dot was going past.

"Hey Sonic! I think we found something that has lots of power!" He looked at me, threw the core of the apple and came to see.

"What do you think it is?" He asked me.

"It could be a Chaos Emerald. But it's moving..." I looked up seeing Eggman moving fast to the east. Sonic sees him too on that flying thing. We both were looking at each other knowing that something bad was about to happen.

"Let's go on the Tornado and see what he's up to!" We both jumped on the Tornado, I started the engines, held the throttle and made the Tornado to go into the sky. I hope Dr. Eggman doesn't a have plan up his sleeve.

Sapphires P.O.V

"Well I'm gonna go home, I'll see you guys later!" The grey Cat waved at us while we were eating some pie. I swallowed some of the pie and waved at my friend.

"Bye Crystal!" I looked at my friends when they stopped gazing at the grey cat. We were on the grass next to a waterfall. I love this place! I looked at three of my friends Lilly a cream Fox, Oliver a red Hawk and Katana an orange Echidna.

"Man, it would be awesome if Shannon was here!" I heard Katana say... I looked down, I felt my heart hurt at that name... I looked up to see Lilly starting at Katana as she shrugged. I'll have to change the subject before it gets violent.

"So who is your favourite hero?" Really Sapphire! This is a kid's question! I looked at the rest to see what they were going to say.

"Actually I would say Sonic!" I looked to Oliver as he said his answer. Hmm... Oh yeah that Blue Hedgehog! I mostly hear people say the Blue Blur or something like that.

"Yeah! I bet he's killing one of his robots!" I looked at Katana confused.

"Who are you talking about?" I asked her.

"Sonic."

"No, I mean who's robots?"

"That dude that looks like an egg... Uh what was his name? Egghand? No... Uh... Egghead?" I shook my head and I heard a name that sounds familiar.

"Eggman, his name is Dr. Eggman." That's the name! If you don't know what it is or what it's called always call on Lilly!

"Well I have to go guys, I got some stuff to do." Man, I don't want Katana to leave!

"Aww! Ok... Cya later then." Then...

"Oh, look at the time! We got to go, Lilly!" I saw her nodding and packing up the mat and plates. Man, well what should I do now... Hmm... I guess I could stay here for a while.

"Sapphire!" I shook my head and looked at Katana calling my name.

"You ok Saff?" I nodded, "Yeah I'm fine I'm going to stay here for a while. I've got nothing to do really."

"Oh, ok then. Cya guys later, then!" I saw my friends walking out of the forest. I breathed in the clear air and fell onto my back feeling the grass soothing my arms. I look up to see a plant starting to die... The poor thing... I should help it. I got up from my spot and went to it I kneeled down to it and put my hand under it to make it stand. I blew it for a while and saw it starting to go green and starts to bloom, Phew! And yes, I have power to heal plants and control them. I walked away from it towards the river where the waterfall is and looked at my reflection, today has been amazing!

I hope nothing bad will happen today.
