                                                                     PROLOGUE.

“Are you sure she’s dead, your child?” The tall figured male asked. His brown eyes staring sympathetically at the distraught woman that stands before him. Bathed in the moon light they hide deep into the forest surrounded by pine trees. These two souls have a distinctive infinity sign tattooed on their wrist. A snake curled around the infinity sign in this particular tattoo. Reuniting once more after two long dreadful years of being shun from one another to put an end to this prophecy. The distressed woman looks up from her teary eyes, staring bluntly at the man she once encountered with as an adolescent.

“Obviously I am sure, it was my child. What mother would like to see her own young die right in front of her eyes?!” She sobbed and cringed at the thought of her young baby girl taking her last breath. The young man felt sorry for his friend, his friend that he had grown to know so well as a youngster.

“I know this is hard for you, but this will put an end to all of this.” He reassured her as he placed his hand on her shoulder tenderly.

As he held her close a piercing clamor resonated through the silent dark forest. It was a sound that resembled a gunshot of some sort that exploded off in the distance.
