Ellie's P.O.V
Ever since I was in third grade, my mom and I haven't been able to stay in one stable town for more than six months. So I'm pretty much used to moving from town to town, and being called "the new girl" in school. My dad left my mom and I five years ago when I was ten years old for another women he met on a "business trip" in San Diego. I haven't heard from him since. Since I grew up in Tennessee, I'm pretty much used to these kind of small country towns. So I think my mom and I might be alright here in New York for a little bit.
