Marshall's P.O.V

~~~~~~~
I know Bubba won't tell me anything. Why am I trying? Why am I even here? This was such a stupid idea. I'm stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
"This was stupid. See ya around Bubba...." I sighed heavily before zooming out of the nearest open window. I knew Bubba's eyes were glued to me as I left. We used to be fucking buddies. What happened?
My Chuck Taylor Converse gently landed on the rock of my cave. Bats soon scattered at the echo. I let out a loud hiss at the annoying sound of their wings.
"Annoying little shits..." I mumbled as I opened my door. A little ball of white was snuggled up on the couch. I huffed and it's head perked up. Little cat ears twitched as I shut the door behind me. I smiled gently at the cat but ignored it later on. I wasn't in the mood for love at the moment.
I raided my own fridge to find a single red apple on the center shelf. I grabbed it and sunk my teeth into it quickly. The once beautiful red color soon disappeared, casted over by a dull grey. I tossed the apple into the garbage and zoomed up to my room.
The large bed looked so inviting. I dove onto it with my face burried in the pillow. I could feel the feathers inside and inhaled the scent. Is this what I smell like? Damn, I'm good.
I lifted my head from the pillow and flipped over on my back. My body sunk into the soft mattress and soon drifted into a soft sleep. The only thing on my mind was a certain gumwad.
Gumball's P.O.V
~~~~~~~

Why did Marshall have to come here? Out of all the days, he came here TODAY?! I can't stand any distractions and this definitely got me distracted. Dammit Marshall....

I walked heavily back to my lab with my hands tucked behind me. Occasionally I would say hello to citizens walking through the halls but there weren't very many today. Just as I was reaching my isolated room, Peppermint Maid came running down the hall.

"Prince! Prince! I have news!" She caught her breath once she reached my feet.

"Well, what is it then?" I groaned and rolled my eyes. I wasn't in the mood for 'news'.

"Marshall Lee, King of the Nightosphere was just here your majesty! He was stealing strawberries from the garden and frightening candy people. Including myself..." She mumbled the last part. I sighed and knelt by her.

"I'll go talk to him. I shall return no later than sundown." I smiled brightly at her but shook my head as I walked away. Of coarse.... Marshall is always the problem.

{Time Skip}

The cave was dark, much to dark for my liking. I saw a dim light which I assumed was Marshall's house. I started sprinting to it, afraid something would grab me from the shadows. My heels clicked against the rock and I heaved, trying to get some air in my lungs.

Once I reached the from door, I sucked in a breath to puff up my chest. It made me look more royal... Or something... I knocked loudly and waited for what seemed like ages.

Finally Marshall opened the door, and so did my mouth. He leaned against the door frame shirtless with his hair a mess and his black boxers loosely around his waist. I kept staring at his features for a minute until I heard snapping.

"Yo. Earth to Bubba?" Marshall kept snapping in my face. I blinked a few times and got my senses back.

"O-oh, I apologize. Hello Marshall Lee." He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Why are you here exactly?" He yawned and stretched his arms. I cleared my throat.

"I came to ask you to not steal strawberries or scare my citizens anymore Mr. Lee." I stood tall even though I felt like a lower class compared to him.

"What? I've been asleep dude." He shrugged and crossed his legs. I looked him up and down once more.

"You mean you just woke up?" I cocked my head in confusion.

"Uh yeah. That's why I look like shit at the moment Bubs." He chuckled and swung his bangs out of his face. I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue.

"Oh stop, you look fine." I folded my arms. His eyes suddenly had a look of slight confusion.

"Who was that vampire then?" He raised an eyebrow at me. His fangs poked out slightly from his mouth. I thought for a moment. I didn't know any other vampires. They're all too frightening. Except Marshall I guess.

"I-I'm not sure. I don't know any other vampires. Peppermint-"

"Of coarse. Bubba, you know Peppermint hates me. Of coarse she blamed it on me. I bet there wasn't even a vampire there." He shook his head low and yawned. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try and get some sleep." Before I could utter a word, the door was slammed shut, sending bats flying through the cave.

And with that I raised my arms above my head and ran on of the darkness, keeping my head down.

Sorry it's so slow in the beginning. 0-0 it will get getter I promise.
