"Hahaha you're so slow come on."
At the very top of a hill sat a two beautiful things. A cherry blossom tree, and a young woman. The woman stood at the top of the hill below the tree staring up at it admiring its beauty while the spring wind whipped her long brown hair and white spring dress. She clutched the sun hat to her head and smiled. The young man below the hill stared at her like she stared at the tree admiring the magnificent beauty it held. He smiled to himself wishing that this moment would never end.
'Crash'
"I'm sorry."
'Beep Beep Beep'
The young man quickly sat up in his bed sweat drenching his blonde hair and clothes.
"Ugh."
He rubbed a hand over his face and looked around his room. Clothes were strewn about and papers littered his desk in the far right corner, his tutor students tests.
He looked at his phone, 8:00, and sighed. It was his day off and his friends were bugging him into going to the Spring festival that night despite home telling them off saying that was not something he wished to do. Especially not today.
Not on the anniversary of his deceased wife.
He got up and proceeded with his daily routine. He hated routines so much but hadn't tried to change it and just proceeded with whatever got him out the door clean and dressed. He left the house later and headed to Espresso House a cafe him and his friends frequently visited. When he arrived he was met with the smell of brewing coffee and the air around him felt peaceful and accepting. He ordered his drink and sat in a table at the far back and began grading papers letting his mind wander to his wife.
"Hey, honey you're spacing out on me again."
Mark looked up to be met with someone he didn't expect to see, his wife, she sat in front of him in the same cafe. She stares at him with her beautiful brown eyes questioning and smiled.
"Sheesh I know you're getting old but still."
He gave her an exasperated look.
"Hahaha you have that old man glare down to a tee hahaha."
He smiles, he always loves her laugh. It was something soft and uplifting always able to bring home out of a dark mood.
"So, what're we going to do today?"
He looked at her, confused.
"I thought that you invited me?"
"Well yeah, but its the gentleman's job to pick the date isn't it?"
She crosses her arms and pointed her nose to the ceiling.
"I don't know so why don't you choose."
He tried to reason with her. She smirked and suddenly he realized that he fell into her trap. She grabbed his arm and started to drag him out of the restruant and off to probably to a Japanese garden where she loved to spend her time. He smiled and quickly caught up to her pace following along.
"hey Hey HEY!"
He was quickly snapped out of his thoughts to see his friend for five years staring at him. Obviously annoyed.
"Hey Earth To Mark!"
Mark quickly shook away his thoughts to pay attention to his loud friend who by now had gained the attention of everyone in the cafe.
Mark quickly shot his hand up to cover his friends mouth and his friend smirked behind his hand.
"So you finally decised to join us."
Right as he said that two other people walked over a woman with long black hair, violet eyes and a boy with curly blonde hair and green eyes. They all sat down and began chatting away, Mark sat in the corner staring out the window.
"hey Hey HEY Mark!"
He looked over to see his friend Brock looking at him.
"Sheesh man we keep losing you, is it because of you know Alex."
They all looked down sadness adorning their features and the reminiscent of an old friend.
"Well what happened happened anyway so what time should we meet tonight?"
They all began to chat away and kept on talking until late one a clock. They all went their seperate ways. Mark went back to his home to finish papers and get ready for the festival. He left at around eight and made his way to the festival where he went to pray. He sat at the statue( I'm not really sure if this is what you do at the festival or any gods that they worship on Japan but lets just say that this is gow it works :p) and began to pray.
"I wanted to thank you for a good year and for spring. I also wanted to wish of you a great year where my students can complete the year having good grades and knowledge to get good grades in school. And also I now that this may sound a little weird but I wish that you would allow me to meet my wife's reincarnation if that makes any sense but still I just want to see her again, so may I be able to see her."
'Well of course'
"Wait what? Who was that?"

Mark frantically looked around.
'Haha my child no need to worry its me and I will grant yourr wish and show you the string of fate, but you will have to fall in love with who I bestow to you, agree?'
Mark was confused, and scared wondering if this was his final straw before he was sending himself to an insane asylum. But either way his dreams always sent home somewhere nice so why not.
"Sure."
'good now lets go.'
Suddenly a golden string was attached to his finger and went off to somewhere he didn't know. He began to follow it weaving through people. Until he reached an alleyway where the string disappeared. He looked around frantically trying to find his wife or the reincarnation of her. Thoughts began to swarm his mind.
'what if this was just a setup.'
'what if this was all just a dirty little trick.'
'I guess today is the day I lost my mind.'
Just as he said that a loud crash sounded to his left where he was met with a young woman jumping out of a window and on a garbage can. She looked familiar she had beautiful brown eyes and long brown hair that reminded him of someone. She wore old dirtied jeans and a white t shirt adorning with her red sneakers."
She looked at him and quickly rushed over and clutched his arm.
"play along okay?"
She whispered and he looked down at her confused just about ready to push her away. When five men came sauntering down the alleyway. Mark new that they were criminals and finally understood why she was attached to his arm. They all looked at him then at her.
"Who's that?"
The bigger of the three questioned and Mark saw the girl tense and look away.
"H-h-he's my b-boyfriend!"
They all looked at him, and he also tensed and looked back just as confused but realizes the situation and straightened up.
"Yes she is my girlfriend,.. Right baby...?"
Mark cringed, he couldn't believe the words that had just left his mouth but still stayed strong. The boys seemed a little doubtful and the girl seemed to notice to and tensed again then looked at Mark. She had a apologetic look on her face and Mark was confused as to why until she, kissed him.
She kissed him and Mark refused to return, until she let him go and looked at the others and smirked.
"He's my boyfriend so SCRAM!"
The boys then ran off both him and the girl visibly relaxed and she looked to him and smiled.
"Hahaha sorry, I didn't really want to do that but they weren't going to understand."
She said scratching the back of her neck.
"I-its fine, just as long as you're okay."
She smiled and something hurt in Marks chest until he realized.
"H-hey, I was wondering, w-whats your name?"
She looked at him confused then smirked and slowly started to walk away.
"My name is Alex Bennet."
Then she was gone.
